There is no way Shane survives this week's board meeting. 0-6 for the season and 0-10 going back to last year is just not acceptable. Worst coach in Dragons history easily, we need someone to mentor and develop our young crop or we risk losing them all. Brad arthurs, Des hasler, Geoff toovey or someone like Hornby, Peter wallace, Brad thorn im sure there is plenty of options to choose from and past results mean nothing, look at Shane. He was carried to a premiership, got a spoon and sent us backwards. What's everyone's suggestions?

Dragons heiarchy need to seriously make it uncomfortable on Ivan Cleary and pay huge dollars to get him out of Penrith.

We have the nursery, new performance facility foundations are there see if he wants a new challenge he can bring a decent halfback with him I'd say.

The same board that re-signed Mary twice for almost making the finals.
The same board that consistently stuffs up our membership packages.

We have a culture problem and that stems from the board.

Who ever it is they need to be able to bring a new coaching staff with them as there needs to be a cleanout of what we've got or we are back to where we started.

Anthony Griffin as a player mostly played at Hooker. Shane Flanagan as a player mostly played at hooker. I don't want any ex-hookers as future coaches. That rules out Deano and Ennis. John Morris, Peter Wallace and Des Hasler also played plenty of games at hooker, so they're out. I'll take Hornby, Kevin Walters, Brad Arthurs, Willie Talau or Jason Demetriou out of the realistic possible coaches. The bigger issue is that any coach with the necessary smarts to turn this club around also has the necessary smarts to know it's not worth the trouble.

Agreed.
I may be wrong but I got the impression Mary threw him under the bus.
Hornby bled red & white as a player and would have learned a lot from Bennett.
Maybe Brown as assistant coach for some 70's style pre-match face-slapping in the sheds.
