In a bid to stave off confusion about who's actually available, I've tried to compile a list of off contract players, with a view to removing them when they sign new contracts. This way we can operate with some accuracy when we whinge about all the players we miss out on. Actually, instead of removing them we can put a strikethrough across their name, so we can keep banging on about plodders who probably got $600k from the Bears but would've signed cheaply with us for certain if only MON had heard of them.

There's a few potential retirees there, but with the demand for first graders now outstripping supply, I dare say most/all of them will be playing again next year. This list was drawn from the NRL signings tracker, which has been inaccurate in the past. If there's any mistakes I'm sure you'll let me know.

What a waste of time, it's not like MON and friends will be chasing anybody. They'll wait for the scraps like normal and then give themselves a 9/10.

MON would be looking at that list picking out the cheapest players and also the oldest.. thats how the good clubs do it

We are surely chasing players, but as you can see, most of them are sitting back waiting for top dollar. Every club has between 15 and 25 players contracted for next year. We have 16, along with the Bears. But the Bears have mostly nuffies on the books. Russell might be their marquee so far, so they should have plenty left to spend. We at least have Moses taking up a tenth of our salary cap. But every club is trying to fill their roster, without wasting cap space.
