2008 - 378 Points conceeded in 16 games @ 23.625
2007 - 561 points conceeded in 24 games @ 23.375
2006 - 565 points conceeded in 24 games @ 23.542
2005 - 575 points conceeded in 24 games @ 23.958
2004 - 534 points conceeded in 24 games @ 22.250

Judging by those figures I think it's pretty clear the Tigers need to hire a defensive coach

2004 was the only year we were a good defensive side (if you take out 106-0 over 2 weeks we only leaked 19.5 points a game. But our attack was sh*te. In 2005, our defensive efforts at the back end of the season were excellent, hence why we won so many games. Apart from these 2 time frames, our defence has been sh*te under Sizzler.

surely you jest. with poor defensive figures like those it's adamantly clear that no one is doing any work on our defence. It's let in practically the same amount of points every year for the last 4 years

My mistake. The club has advertised for a CEO and a Membership Manager in recent weeks, maybe Wayne Cousins can send an ad out for a Defensive Coach?
