strong jnr base? ha haStarkers said:they've got a stadium, strong junior base and a foundation club waiting for rebirth. i'd say that's a fair case for inclusion.

dodge said:Road maps are clearly beyond your comprehension. If you can't get from Parramatta to Penrith on the M4 in 20 mins you have trouble.
that site bases the time on speed limits and distanced travelled. obviously you go a different route and travel faster than the speed limitsRaider_69 said:by that site it takes me 4 hours and 1 minute to get from my house to Canberra stadium... its normally a 3 - 3 and half MAX... its been done in 2 and half
so that site doesnt known sh*te!!

a mere 20 minutes from penrith? what jet was that?
there are enough teams that are 'regional' not to need another team from sydney, there are simply just not enough good reasons to have a new team there

dodge said:Central Coast is a regional area you dope.
Do you and your opinion live to piss people off? Are you really that narrow-minded? The Central Coast has a very strong junior base - the reason they fail so miserably at Flegg level is because they have no springboard to go higher.
Northern Eagles? You mean Manly in a bear suit?
which is where they should be going!nqboy said:Is ti possible that the CC juniors are not so strong because they have had the eyes picked out of them by NRL clubs?
fish where there are fish, exactly! there are none there!nqboy said:No. Ideally, they would be playing for their local area. Fish where the fish are.
dodge said:No, but I'm sure they all have a fair idea who Andrew Johns is.
Hoggy said:And they might not know who Lewis Roberts-Thomson is, but they would probably recognise Barry Hall.

Melbourne have been in this comp, have won a premiership and have a succesful team and yet struggle to attract 10 000 ppl on a sat nite?? That is very poor. I believe NZ rugby league is ready to explode and therefore another team should be introduced in NZ. 2 teams would create a great rivalry alone in nz and would highten the intereset of the game..aint rocket science really!
