that site bases the time on speed limits and distanced travelled. obviously you go a different route and travel faster than the speed limits

I can assure you Sir K that it has been my opinion from the start of Melbourne's entry to the competition.
Please don't compare me to The Emporer, I cant afford the time off for the therapy needed after such a call.

10 min from canterbury? haha what jet do you fly in?
a mere 20 minutes from penrith? what jet was that?

there are enough teams that are 'regional' not to need another team from sydney, there are simply just not enough good reasons to have a new team there

Central Coast is a regional area you dope.

Do you and your opinion live to piss people off? Are you really that narrow-minded? The Central Coast has a very strong junior base - the reason they fail so miserably at Flegg level is because they have no springboard to go higher.

Northern Eagles? You mean Manly in a bear suit?

Wrong. Run a search from Ballarat to Wagga Wagga, and the piece of sh*t site ignores any roads but the Hume, Sturt and Western Highways that it has on it's system. The site is a rough guide and is often wrong. Again, if you can't reach Penrith from Parramatta in 20 minutes, doing the speed limit on the M4, you have a mental deficiency.

Another thing that site does is round up any part of the journey that takes less than a minute and makes it "1 min"

 idiot.

Is it possible that the CC juniors are not so strong because they have had the eyes picked out of them by NRL clubs?

which is where they should be going!
i am all for expansion of the game, but going to the central coast is not expansion at all. its putting another team in an area very close to where there are a bunch of teams

No, but I'm sure they all have a fair idea who Andrew Johns is.

And they might not know who Lewis Roberts-Thomson is, but they would probably recognise Barry Hall.

Brisbane/Nth Queensland (albeit it took some time) created a following of over 20, 000 crowd in around 4-7 years. Melbourne have been in this comp, have won a premiership and have a succesful team and yet struggle to attract 10 000 ppl on a sat nite?? That is very poor. I believe NZ rugby league is ready to explode and therefore another team should be introduced in NZ. 2 teams would create a great rivalry alone in nz and would highten the intereset of the game..aint rocket science really!

Why not keep the Storm and go to CC as well. I believe the depth is just about there. This seasons tight competition pays tribute to that.

The mistake in large expansion back in 1995 was the lack of talent for four extra sides, therefore Auckland, Nth Queensland, South Queensland and Perth struggled.

I think we could sneak one extra in, and then one or two more down the track too. A bit optimistic, but I think Rugby League deserves to be.

NQ had 20k+ averages for the first 4 years, went down a bit then back up there for the last 3 years. if the cowboys are competitive(top 8 or top 10) they will be up there for good. it is suprising though the storm have such low crowds, maybe if channel 9 and the media down there got off their collective a$$e$ and exposed our game a bit more the averages might go up a bit. but getting rid of them would be stupid, i agree on the gold coast getting a go, i think next either the central coast or one of the former areas (Perth/Adelaide) should be the next goal b4 NZ, though with them winning the tri nations, it will be interesting to see how junior numbers are effected. time will tell.

Another team in NZ ??? I know what you've got in your "Palms", and your definately moving them backwards and forwards TOOOOO often.
Whether it's NRL, ARL, or NSWRL running the competition, why the hell would you have two teams from another country in your comp.

My point was that Id rather have a team based where people would follow it mate..I cant see the sport becoming popular in Melbourne. If we are talking national I would opt for another team in CC.

Well thought out, witty (or lack of) call Preacher. Hurt me deep!
