Google suggests it's scheduled for end of July- start of August, but presumably all the stadiums would be booked so no games would be played in Brisbane anyway.

Why is the Brisbane Olympics even remotely a thing in this discussion?

What would that event mean in relation to the NRL?

Pretty sure there was mention of RL being added as an Olympic Sport for the 2032 Brisbane games.

So if true it would mean the the Olympics is very relevant to RL and a new Brisbane team; especially when you consider marketing and exposure to a potential overseas audience.

Exactly. The Summer Olympics have to be hosted in that window after NBC ( the IOC's primary broadcast partner) kicked the shits over potential bids from the Southern Hemisphere and the Gulf States hosting outside the northern summer, because it competes against American domestic sports.
It's why Brisbane was the only Australian city able to bid, while Melbourne and Sydney already have all the key venues.
