http://www.2gb.com/article/sunday-session-david-morrowAndrew tweetd on Friday arvo he was calling th All Stars game and actually calling it from th ground as opposed to MMM who called it off the tv from Ultimo
i was pretty surprised that ABC had signed him given how due to govt cutbacks they have/are discontinuing a lot of sports they cover presently so i listened in and it felt weird hearing him on ABC after years listening to him fill in for Raaaayyy
I thought Dave Morrow had retired altogether from radio especially after a presentation to him by CRL and announcement he made at th Group 11 Grand Final last year that he called for ABC but now im reading he will be on Hadley radio
kinda hoping Andrew doesnt get Blocky a job at Aunty tho
Its weird when you have it on 2GB its David Morrow calling and you switch it over to ABC its Andrew Moore calling.
Didn't know Morrow moved to 2GB!
The pre-show stuff with Moore on ABC is better than Spillane's inane crap but they need to kill the open lines
what, be one of the few coaches to take Penrith to the finals? To me it sounds a little bit like a few of his listeners from 2GB may have followed him over for the footy... put it this way, they don't sound like someone who would listen to Robbie Buck for breakfast or Richard Glover on drive on ABC Sydney.
Starting to get used to the new team as well. Matty Elliott has really taken well to life after coaching with his media role. I noticed he was at Pepper Stadium last night for the Manly match... surprised he was allowed back in the joint after what he did between 2007 and 2011.
Voss used to be your middle of the road average caller...nothing bad, nothing great.
Unfortunately these days he is trying too hard to fill the comedic role vacated by Roy & H.G.and it sadly fails.
When I was trying to watch yesterday's reserve grade game between Canberra and the Cows,Voss knew his show was the only one in town, and he overplayed and over hyped his effort to a point whereas I simply had to turn off the volume.
He was,to put it mildly,as irritating,as a toothache.
I can understand were people do like him with his 3 or 4 a minute witty anecdotes and observations.
But for me,IMO that is too much saturation...saturation without substance.
