I think the problem is that people like Alan Jones are still furious that black people are not available to be house boys and chauffers to the rich and powerful like himself.

Guests at tonight's $275-a-head Liberal Party extravaganza at the Hordern Pavilion might get more entertainment than planned.
Less than a fortnight ago the host of the proceedings, Alan Jones, fired off a vitriolic letter to his friend of 17 years, Kamahl.
Along with Jones, the caftaned crooner is part of this evening's celebrations to mark 30 years in Parliament by the Prime Minister, John Howard.
Jones, who helped launch Kamahl's biography, The Impossible Dream, in 1995, has written to the singer saying that his behaviour "disgusted" him and that Kamahl would never again be invited to a 2GB function.
"Dear Kamahl," he wrote on 2GB letterhead, dated May 6. "I write reluctantly, but write I must. I have been speaking with Glenn Wheeler [2GB's weekend midnight-to-dawn presenter], a young man whom I was responsible for recruiting to this radio station . . . Glenn has presented me with an horrific story about your behaviour and arrogance, etcetera, recently at a 2GB function.
"Along with this was a willingness by you to recite some view about the Denton program, which Glenn Wheeler wasn't remotely interested in. Then there was the business of selling CDs; about changing the times for today's performances. Kamahl, what the hell happens to people! Where is the humility that is required in community service?
"I listened to what Glenn had to say, determined that you should never be invited to a function like that again. I was just disgusted."
In conclusion, Jones fumed: "Once people start playing the 'star' crap with me, I'm afraid I move in the other direction. I'm sure no one tells you these things. But I felt I should. Yours sincerely, Alan Jones."
Kamahl was initially furious, and read the letter out in Penrith Panthers show on May 10.
He explained that 2GB had an arrangement with Western Suburbs Leagues Club to put on 12 shows a year and he had been booked for May 6 and May 8. The MC for both shows was Wheeler.
It appears relations between the pair began to unravel over a Burl Ives number, Pearly Shells. Kamahl says Wheeler had asked him if he could perform the song at the first show but he did not have time to learn the words. This led to a grass-skirted Wheeler appearing on stage miming the words to Pearly Shells during Kamahl's show.
Also angering Wheeler was that Kamahl had been talking backstage about the appearance by Jones's rival broadcaster John Laws the night before on Andrew Denton's show, Enough Rope.
On the show Lawsrepeated his claim that Jones told him he had threatened to withhold his support for Mr Howard unless Professor David Flint was reappointed head of the Australian Broadcasting Authority.
Kamahl said yesterday that this was a private conversation.
But it appears it was the change of times for the Thursday concert - not communicated adequately to Wheeler - which led Wheeler to complain to Jones.
Wheeler said yesterday that the story was of "no interest to anyone". Kamahl was eager that the matter not be aired as Jones had since apologised.
