2nd half - last 3 weeks

Maybe this is why BS was so cheesed off with our 1st half on friday.

I know I am not stating anything new but in our last 3 games- Saints, Raiders and Broncos we have scored nearly all of our points in the 2nd half.

Saints 1st half scored 6 2nd half 16
Raiders 1st half scored 6 2nd Half 42
Broncos 1st half scored 6 2nd half 22

Defence
Saints 1st half conceded 19 2nd half 6
Raiders 1st half conceded 10 2nd Half 0
Broncos 1st half conceded 14 2nd half 0

Apart from the Bullcheats match, this goes on even further but I don't have the stats on hand.

We are an awesome 2nd half side - now for the 1st half!

Superior fitness kicking in for the 2nd half? Perhaps our bench is just that damn good that we wear teams down in a relentless assault.

I guess we are a team that just needs to stick with teams in the first half and get them in the second.

Watch for a massive first half this week with the fowards dominating at every turn (touch wood).....after smiths comments last week this will be a certainty

i know it's a bit of a worrying stat, but at least it means that the boys aren't giving up. Like coming back from 18-0 against the dragons (even tho we lost by 3) and managed to stay well and truly in the game is no easy feat.

Eventhough they do come back firing after half time it is a concern. There have been time when a poor first half performance has cost us the game. One of these games is the Dragons game. We dominated in the second half but we had already let them get too far ahead in the first and they ended up winning by a measly 3 points. I really hope this doesn't go on for much longer, because to be honest the team NEEDS to play for the full 80 minutes in the finals, not just the last 40.

Nope I never back that option. Which is surprising seeing I bought it up after the Raiders game that we start slow. There is a thread around somewhere :lol:
