There are 5 ODIs remaining, IMO Doherty has shown he is a level below Hauritz in one-dayers, so you've got a couple of games to experiment before WC.
SOK would have to be ahead of Lyon, he has looked pretty handy but FMD after 2 big beat off games  Beer,Holland or Krezja are ahead of him.

Funny that he's a Bluebagger when he isn't doing well and the amount NSW players in the team is in question but a Queenslander when he is doing well, ditto Hauritz.

Have I ever said anything to that effect?

I'd be the last person to call Hauritz a Blue, I remember hearing about him back in his Hervey Bay days.

I just think the Clarke haters must be spewing, two games two wins, even when the captain had only one decent innings. ODIs

Don't worry they are still hating more than ever. Fact he is in a form slump. Fact he Captained the team superbly tonight and deserves credit for that.

Fact he's getting told off by a 17 year old too.

Funny thing about this whole domestic recognition issue, it's funny when the media will recognise guys like Watson and Hauritz as blue bloods but as soon as Harris made his debut he was announced as a South Australian.

Has Shane Watson been watching Imran '92 videos? The way he is playing he may not merely emulate but surpass Imran's 92 feats. As I said at the start of the ashes, Australia winning the world cup rests very heavily on Watto's shoulders.

What odds on Marsh getting "subbed" into the squad now?

That 17yo kid will go far. What mongrel, and to respond so simply, wow.

That kid would be far more valuable to Australian cricket than nuffies like Hildud,Neilsen,Langer put together. Probably the first time Clarke has copped some constructive criticism is ages.

Hughes asked Langer some advice when he came back into the team and he got????

Watch the ball from the bowlers hand and win all the battles :?

Brett Lee's made a huge difference to our bowling lineup, bowling pretty well (bar his last over tonight, which was tripe) but lifts the bowlers around him, he's a genuine leader of the attack, unlike Johnson whose shoulders slump the minute he goes poorly.

Nice to see the Rug bowl ok again.

Clarke is a much better captain than ponting, really hope he rediscovers his batting form because I'm looking forward to the post-Ponting era at present.

agree

I think we need to seriously look at leaving Johnson out of sides more often. Yeah the guy can be a demon at times, but doing it once a blue moon isnt cutting it anymore

I wonder if they'll get too many more game in Hobart with all those injuries, pretty soft outfield.

Well done to Marsh, just beat the rug for MOM.

Like to see SOK get a run on Sunday to see what he can do at this level, could be a good replacement for Hauri if he doesn't make it. We already know what X can do.

Shame about Tait but I really think we are better off without him, the wild thing is all over the shop. Hope they dont replace him with Siddle.

You know what grinds my gears? Not one mention of the quality Captaincy from Clarke last night... The media are fueling this hatred and they are pathetic. He was the golden boy when in form and now all they do is knock him down. We need to back our players FFS.
