This is happening today, same start and play time as the last one.

Malinga should be back, so that should be a massive boost for Sri Lanka...

I don't really have all that much to say about it right now apart from Malinga and reminding everyone that it's happening.

So far our bowling has been quite good, keeping it nice and tight

I have been one of Johnson's biggest critics on this Forum in the past but i have to say he is bowling pretty well at the moment.

Sri Lanka all out for 207. Australia in a great position to win this. And all bowlers have taken wickets. Not a bad day all round.

Would like to see Johnson back here to see if our new bowling coach has done wonders on him.

I'm loving Clarke's control of the match. Making good changes setting attacking fields and he is looking in great form with the bat. I really think he's one of those guys who leadership just agrees with. Not weighed down by it at all, it will allow him to grow. Still worried about our test attack selections, but hopeful for a pretty good summer.

I'm a huge Johnson fanboy so I'm hoping he finally starts to show some consistency.

I really doubt that Johnson is fixable. Happy to be proven wrong, but his whole action is always just a knife's edge away from disaster. Even last night when he was fairly tidy his arm was a bit low and his slingy kind of action just looks like it has too many things that can go wrong. He'll have some 'on' days no doubt. Even when he's not bowling great he is arsey and gets wickets, like with Tharanga last night. But he'll have at least as many out right shockers.

It is funny how the subcontinent doesn't seem to bring out his worst though - especially in one dayers.

Johnson in terms of ODI stats in Asia is interesting, because he seems much more able to perform in ODIs in Asia than elsewhere.

Matches Wickets average economy strike rate 5fers 4fers
ODIs in Asia: 32 | 62 | 20.3 | 4.73 | 25.7 | 2 | 3
all ODIs: 101 | 160 | 25.01 | 4.87 | 30.7 | 3 | 6

On the subject of his stats, he also has a much better bowling average in ODIs than tests, which really does not sit well with me. His Asian test figures are ordinary though.

Innings Wickets average economy strike rate 5fers 4fers 10w hauls
all tests: 80 | 181 | 29.71 | 3.33 | 53.5 | 7 | 10 | 2
Tests in Asia: 12 | 21 | 37.23 | 3.19 | 69.9 | 1 | 1 | --

I like Steve Smith, I think he is a decent player but he has not been properly utilised in the national team yet.
