Copley is not an Origin winger. Not really even a winger anyway.

Hook would have to give Gagai a run next week for sure

I think Vidot is starting to get himself in the picture again. He has come a long way since being dumped in the NSW cup by Price.

Otherwise, Justin O'Neill, Lote Tuqiri, Dane Nielsen, Willie Tonga and Brent Tate are in the running, but the latter 3 are centres and Tuqiri still has to string a couple of good games together to get a call up...

Glad you aint a selector...a 4 foot Barba on the wing:crazy:
A 4 foot Barba is far better than Dropley, the only thing I like about him is that he's not lazy and has started coming in looking for work. Size isn't everything for wingers..Matt Sing was one of my favourite QLD wingers, and Barba's 2cm taller.

Inglis + Boyd would do their normal thing and be monsters under the high ball, while Hodges + Barba would carve through with their running games.

Are the people who are saying Copley serious? Granted I've missed the broncos game tonight, but the bloke is nothing more than a fringe first grader,

There is only one bloke suggesting Copley and he cleary has no idea at all. He also suggested Beale FFS.

It will either be Brent Tate or Dane Neilson.

This.

You can't really go wrong with either selection. If you pick Neilson on the wing, you get a bloke who can also play centre should Hodges or Inglis get injured (god forbid). If you pick Tate you get a guy who's solid under the high ball and solid in defence. Both players have done a great job when needed for QLD in the past.

Playing for the Broncos always gives you a headstart in Origin selection.

I have no doubt Leon Bott would have been selected ahead of Matt Sing if he played more than 4 games of NRL.

Shaun Berrigan if you were in need for a centre. Doubt he would be a contender for a winger spot though.

Fantastic troll post. This is you...

Granted he's playing in a losing side at the moment, but David Meade's composure impressed me last night. Might need to play first grade a bit longer, though.

Fair dinkum. David Mead? Blake Ferguson? They're randomly skilled first grade players. That's about it.

We need complete footballers, with a solid all round game who have virtually no mistakes in their game, and who can lift to fit in with the QLD SOO side. These players you mention aren't quite at that level yet.
