It would have to be Tuffey as he was the 12th man for the last test. Southee is nowhere near test level at this stage.

Yeah that would play a part but for mine, he'd be better off having a season in domestic cricket. Apart from 2 tests where he did well in the first innings in both of those tests, it was clear that he still had a long way to go.

New Zealand won the toss and elected to field and are off to a pretty solid start, bowling is very tight at the moment
