one or two only? I thought you were amazed many told you were wrong?

Not sure Herbert is disagreeing with you either, he does mention that our 1st innings should be better, blind freddy can see that.

But whats the solution? do we hit the panic button every test when the 1st innings fails? or do we persist with a core group for a while.

Hardly anyone knocking on the door for an opening or middle order spot (though if Khawaja keeps hitting big ones he will get his crack)

Mate, I'm amazed that ANYONE said I was wrong. As it is, using their second innings performances as evidence that they're going well is absurd.

Referring to your point, no I don't believe in hitting the panic button every time there is a failure. I do, however, believe something needs to be done when it is clear that a pattern has emerged. I think after 7 consecutive top order failures in the first innings, we can agree that a worrying pattern has emerged.

Australia will be all out by tea day 4.

I don't see them having the intestinal fortitude for saving this test, either winning or holding on for the draw.

Harris to top score, with Smith just behind. Three ducks.

I agree, if it was as easy as Clarkie says, just bat out for time, we would have already done it in the first innings

the only way we wont lose is if its rained out

I hope we do get enough time to be tested. I don't want us to be saved by the rain. Win or lose I want the game decided by our batsmen.

It's about time they performed while under pressure.

A BM skippered side would be getting the batting test of their lives as they'd still be poking singles around at the Gabba.

you'd prefer a loss than a draw

seek help

That's not what I said at all. If there is enough rain that it stops us from losing. That means there will be enough rain to stop us from winning.

I don't want the rain to play a part. I want there to be a result. I want our batsmen to have a chance to win us the game.

I wish people would stop death riding the Australian test team.

That said, if Australia win, I will eat what is left over of BunnieMan's hat.
