Didn't expect the result in test 1, certainly not the emphatic scoreline

Bangers a chance for redemption? Doubt it, they are pathetic. The biggest under achievers world cricket has ever known

Zimbots 2-0

Bangladesh is going to complain they arent in the comfort of playing in conditions on the Subcontinent where they can bowl 7 spinners

They can bounce back if they change their team around. Shakib is obviously still not ready and Tamim/Mominul will be back which is a big boost for the team. But if they don't apply themselves and play balls according to its merit then they will get smashed again. Zim pacers will be all over Bangerz again if they don't change their bad habits.

Same deck predicted. Meth, Jarvis and Masakadza will have a field day again. And how good is Taylor?

Zim 2-0.

A disgusting performance from Bangladesh in the last test. Can't see them bouncing back in this test either.

2-0 Zimbabwe

Bangladesh will never grow unless they learn to play in more dimensions.

They can't just pile up runs on a flat track and out-spin their opponent to victory, and then expect to compete at the top level outside of their cozy doctored home conditions, who the hell does that!?

Yes I'm looking at you India. Bangladesh picked a bad example to base themselves on.

Or Sri Lanka. Never competitive away from home. Vaas and Malinga must be genetic freaks, the conditions would never allow for the production of quality quick bowlers.

Really the only subcontinental country that has ever understood you need to have a well balanced team is Pakistan.

I've always wondered why there is a gap between the production of fast bowlers in the sub continent? Pakistan have always produced quality pace bowlers in every era. India, Bangladesh haven't and Sri Lanka have to some degree.

^ Yeh, its just too bad the Pakis also produce some dodgy characters to offset their brilliance/ talent on the cricket field

Sloppy day from both teams. Zim dropped chances whereas Ban threw away their wickets. Tamim was going very well, played some mouthwatering cover drives but had a massive brain freeze and ran himself out. Jahurul also had a gun to his head when he played a lofted cover drive in the morning session to get himself caught. Ashraful got out playing the pull shot. The worst of the lot Mominul Haque who was looking very comfortable and composed was motoring along nicely considering this is his 3rd test match ballooned it straight to the cover fieldsmen.

But overall they would be glad to reach 300 at the end of days play as Shakib/Mushfiq had a nice partnership. Dropping Riyad was the best option for the team but the bowling department is the biggest gamble going with Sajidul and Ziaur.

Bangla Desh bowled out for 391 in a far better effort with the bat as a team

and they have Zimbabwe in a tricky little spot in their first innings at 2 for 26, Brendon "The real deal" Taylor strides out to the crease

Seems like Bangladesh have adjusted to the conditions. The real blunder was not playing a practice match. I think that's where they did themselves damage. Robiul has been a real good find for Bangladesh.

i've always thought that the production of pace bowlers comes down tothe living lifestyle of the country and also their diet. Pakistan are an active country where they eat fairly healthy. Bangladesh are downright a lazy country and that's why they only produce spinners (due to the shorter run-up and the fact that they won't get tired easily). India haven't produced that many pacers and Sri Lanka are also an active country.

The deshis get a first innings lead

For God's sake! Don't stuff it up from here!

Also India has a population of 1 billion people. They should be able to find more sportive/ active types on the basis of population size itself

Although the caste system hinders the India a lot with people's dates decided from the time they were born. And almost impossible to change it

It only took a tragedy of a building collapse, which has become a national tragedy in their country:

But Bangla desh's cricketers have fought super hard in conditions that dont suit them in this test match.

I dont know why such events do that to sports teams

Why on earth did Zimbabwe aim to chase down the target? they're rip roaring at 3 and a half runs an over, but Bangla Desh only need 6 wickets to level the series with a day to spare.

With not much batting to come, Bangla desh will level the series by lunch time tomorrow as a result of some reckless cricket

If you cant win a game of test cricket, you bat out time to prevent the other team winning. That's why the English invented this game, its not an American sport!

Mind you, the Australian test cricket team is unaware of such a concept

Zimbabwe bat deep. Jarvis is no mug with the bat coming in at 11.

Will be a huge effort though.
