Losing Taylor was the key, but you're right there's lots of batting.

Should be a good finish, great to see Zimbabwe going for the win.
Reminds me of the scare they gave New Zealand last year, even if they are ranked so low its great to see positive cricket.

Bangladesh have a solid chance to draw the series. Doubt Zim will be able to hang on.

Another thing that has been hindering the Bangladeshi cricket team is the umpiring. Yes Zim got bad calls but Bangladesh's were way worse and more occured more frequently compared to Zim's. Im trying to be neutral here. Ashraful was given out LBW to a ball that was going well beyond leg. It was the worst decision i've seen in a while. This was when Bangladesh were trying to build on a lead.

Also Tamim was given out caught behind to a delivery that never touched the bat. In those circumstances it was a horrible call because Ash and Tamim were given out when they shouldn't have been given out and suddenly Bangladesh were reeling at 2/30 when it should have been 0/30. It's not just these two incident there has been countless other horrible decisions. The umpires seem to give into the loud appealing of the Zim's. Ironically enough Bangladesh were trying to use that tactic but instead the umpire gave them a warning for appealing too loudly.

Gazi should have gotten a wicket yesterday which was as plumb as you like it to be.

So I guess there was no DRS implemented, which is of course ridiculous.

In that regard the ICC is frustratingly backward, there are systems which can take out the howlers and make these contests fair and a standard has still not been applied because of a minority (India) still griping about those 10% of calls that are 50/50.

The technology assistance isn't perfect, but it never will be and its a hell of a lot better than human umpires alone. There is no argument to that.

I think it's essential for ICC to get DRS in for the lower ranked teams. They suffer the worst when it comes to bad decisions compared to the top teams.

Yep, if Dhoni was on the back of those howlers he'd have the umpires fired.

A shame that there isn't a decider. Well done to Bangladesh for coming back strongly. They would have been better off in the 1st test if they had a warm up match.

Good win for Bangladesh. Time to move onto the ODIs. Curious to see how they go in Bullawayo. Bullawayo is pretty much Bangladesh's second home ground due to the slow low bounce on the pitch.

Yeah you're right, not the first time that we've seen a 2 test series finishing up square as an anticlimax. And somehow the cricket calendar finds two months of IPL instead.
