First time on this site & noticed this thread. Very interesting to read the opinions of you all in regard to the show & I agree that the show has gone down hill.
Graeme's biasedness towards Souffs, his bitching about the Dogs & NRL Administration, his negative outlook on the game (though somewhat warranted) & his hatred of the Roosters is getting very annoying.
Pappy is a toffy nosed rugby lover, Gav is a strange boy, Tunks isn't too bad but I agree he should stop trying to be funny all the time. MG does change his opinion from one caller to the next, but I still think he's great.
The Callers, well they certainly have a varied lot & at least 2SM does give them a chance to speak. Phil is okay, he's just a guy from the bush who speaks slowly, same with Darren who also isn't the most educated guy, but that doesn't mean they are Dumb. If you really listen to them, you have to agree that they know what they are talking about especially in regard to League, Cricket & in Phil's case Racing.
As for Bass, if you miss him on 2SM you can hear him he say the same thing on 2KY & 2UE, which is usually negative. Adrian well he just hates the Roosters, because 9 times out of 10 that's all he talks about, the other time is to pay out on Wayne Bennett.
As for Jahnell, well at least she gets on the radio & says what she thinks even if it is double speak, not unlike most of you who hide behind the annonimity of a web site & who probably wouldn't have the guts to say any of these comments face to face with the people you have paid out on, whereas at least Jahnell will say it to them on air as well as face to face. As for the crack by Zorba, that's typical of him to get personnal, (not unlike Hadley) when he's shown up to be a liar & idiot.
