3-2-1 against the eagles

It was a hard game to pick 3-2-1 for.
No one really had a standout game.

Peachey and Kimmorley were the best 2 out of a somewhat disappointing team performance.

I'll give Kimmorley and Peachey 2.5 each.
And the 1 point to Stevens (although I was going to take it off him for that terrible field goal effort!)

Bird was close, but he dropped the ball too often, did have a solid game in defence though.

I was willing Stevo's field goal to go over! He did setup a try in the 2001 Ashes from a perfectly executed bomb, though.

If you took the $2.40 about a Sharks 13 plus victory I can say Stevo's field goal attempt wasnt funny.
If you didnt take the $2.40 and backed Sharks 1-12 you would be much happier.
I didnt think it was funny.

Thats fair enough. Stevo was my pick but his binning hurt him. Just FYI, the coach's award went to Dave Peachey and the President's award went to BK. Premier League award went to Pat Gibson who played lock and the JF went to Stephen Ross from memory. (I was smashed.)

The Dally M points were:

How can you get Dally M points when you sent to the sin bin? Obviously, 'fairest' is not a concept that anyone respects these days.

I'm a big fan of Stevo, but those 2 penalties for incorrect play the ball (and if the ref wanted to be very technical bot Stevo and Beattie could have got more) invited Manly back into the game. Stevo gave a lot to the Sharks, bit he also gave a lot to Manly.

My scoring:
3. Peachey (beautiful to watch)
2. Kimmorely (hasn't lost any flair with the new style)
1. Sullivan (becoming a worthy suiccessor to Treister)

Hon. Mentions:
McGoldrick - Improved both attack and defense over week 2. When Vagana joins it'll be great to have to choose between McGoldrick and Franze. Means we have some depth and they'll be competing with each other.
Bird - Improving all the time. Better defense. Passed the ball. Has a great step
Galloway - They found him really hard to handle. Continues to impress
Stuart Raper - I see signs of team spirit - there's a lot more talking a lot more smiling - still has a long way to go, but looking good.

I don't think the Dally M has anything to do with fairness. That'd be the Rothman's Medal.

Sully was good, not as good as Bird IMO but still he makes alot of in roads. Can't wait for Vagana to come back either, how good is it going to be with Kimmorley, Bird, Peachey, Vagana, Franze, Reick and Merritt running wild. Not to mention, Simmons, McGoldrick, Saleh, Seers, Aitken, Emelio and Dallalana backing them up.

Wow.
