Holmes needed more clean ball and we were a little too lateral going left. The kick mistake was ameturish and can’t ever happen again. A little more body on the line for Kikau but who the f**k stands in his way.
Prior and bakuya were the main culprits there. It should never had made it to Holmes.

Seggy added little. The crispness in passing was obvious from brailey.

Flanno played Maloney like a violin. Well done indeed.

Forgot Moylan. His defence was tough. He was targeted and really showed some nuts. First half playing on the front foot his attack was good too.

Agree. Fifita was superb. Chad started the scoring and iced the game. Capewell stood up. Big minutes and was gone in that second half but got the job done.

On 2 occasions in the first half Feki had to run in field because the panthers defence pushed across because the ball came out to slow. Now go watch the replay and which player holds the ball does a dummy, a little shuffle then passes the ball?
It's the player you gave your 3 points to causing all of these issues

Well he was not playing yawnion where his job would be to just get the ball and throw it asap to whosoever was meant to be there no matter what. He is a rugby league half ,meant to direct the play to wherever the situation is best suited. Doesnt always play out correct but I know which way takes a smarter player.

Thought that second half was shocking. Penrith came out and played much better but we kept putting pressure on Maloney which put him off his game. How Cleary missed that field goal right in front I’ll never know. Even Chad buried his chance which wasn’t half as easy as his. We can definitely beat Melbourne next week if we pull our fingers out and not go to sleep in the second half. Needed to keep the foot on their throat tonight but we took it off and they very nearly made us pay.

Not to worry. Onwards and upwards. Melbourne next week, let’s beat those dirty f**kers and set sail for the GF.
