I've got a controversial opinion on Cartwright. He's not ready. Peeps on here are just too eager for him to be on first grade despite him just not having the ability to perform consistently. Yet.

Docker should come straight in for him.

If you look back through the threads you'll find I said something very similar to this before the season had even started.

I recall this, Frog. Although I am a big fan of his, the step up to first grade is a big one and it appears that he is just not quite ready to play a prominent role there yet.

Having him play a bit part role however is not helping his cause.

Nor does continually moving during the game because of injury. Needs a solid month of footy in the same role. Whether that's 20mins in 1st grade or a month in NSW Cup so be it

regardless of who is picked we need to put a lock on the gym.Give every player a footy to take home and get back to basic footy.Our back row Taylor Cartwright Peachey all good players but all start out there runs drifting sideways.Straight and hard or the coach hooks them sits them down till they do

Defence again no numbers in the tackle .Only way to slow the ruck down is numbers .We go and lay on there wait look at the ref and then complain when penalised .

Hitting the ball up and running it back from a kick all players run in a upright position.This allows players to be pushed back over the try line as we have seen over the past few weeks.Also allows players to be held up slowing the next play the ball down.Hit the deck play the ball fast.
The basics are where we are costing ourselves heavily

They arent straight and hard players though. I agree when we're not going anywhere sometimes you just want them to slog it up the middle but all three are ball playing backrowers. Theyre being let down by our front row not doing the job and letting them do their thing. I also think we're missing Brown in that role big time. He straightens the attack and invariably gets over the advantage line and gets a fast play the ball.
