3 - Gallen. His 2 tries were a match winner, and his presence in attack and defence was what we needed. He played an excellent match.

2 - Simmo. Big improvement in attack and defence. Nice try.

1 - Iceman/Peach - hard to split. iceman gave away a few penalties, but he played with alot of heart. Peach was good.

Sully would have gotten a point if it wasnt for that god awful pass. Mentions to Hilder, Williams, Galloway, Stevo and McGoldy (what a game!). Vags and Merritt went alright too.

Noddy's kicking needs to improve. That last kick was sweet though.

3. Stevo. When he was on the park he was the difference.

2.Gallen. Obviously strong performance although he was caught out in defence against his opposite at crucial times but he gets a point a try.

1.Hilder.Solid!

Peach,BK,Simmo,Mcgoldy all had good games as well.

Vagana?????.....Quiet :|

Simmons and McGoldrick to hold their places this week but only on a week to week basis IMO

Most of the team played well but we seemed to drift out of the game for a couple of 5-10 minute periods by making some dumb errors and poor tackles. Great to win at Brookvale though. :D

Go Mcgoldrick. I hate to say I told you so but...

3 - Gallen
2 - Stevo
1 - Mcgoldy for smashing the bejesus out of Hoppa and looking dangerous every time he touched the ball.

Simmo played well as did Peachey. Hilder and Noddy had their moments aswell.

Pretty much all the boys played well. I would just bring J-Will onto the bench for say Iso or Bicks.

Peachey Had a hand(big hand) in nearly every try & scored one.
Stevens The big bopper is dominating
Gallen Solid game and a couple of meaties. He's no Walker though.

I think the main problem that you guys have with Vagana is that he isnt doing the work you want him to. He aint that kinda player fellas! He's the type who looks dangerous and sometimes breaks the line when he gets the ball (which isnt all that often). Also he's not that quick but has excellent balance and footwork that makes him a great finisher. Simmons seemed to miss quite a few tackles (as per normal) but I don't see why people are saying he had a good game. Anyway here are my ratings:

3 - Stevens - Stevo was awesome, how the hell did Kite and Mason get picked in front of him for NSW :? Also we need another big man like Beattie up there with him.

2 - Gallen - Everyone else pretty much summed it up. Awesome game and I dunno if Bird should just be aloud to walk right back into the first grade team.

1 - Vagana - Worth every cent and he showed why today.

3. Peach - Great attack in the first half, and saved the day repeatedly in the second half with some great cover tackles and the brilliant bomb catch.

2. Gallen

1. Stevens

Excellent games by Kimmorley, Bailey (back to his best!) and Vagana as well. Galloway was very good too.

Doesn't mean I changed my opinion on Gallon being 5/8. He's just a top footballer. I wouldn't have minded another nippy player on the field to run off the amazing number of offloads we produced.

3. Peachey. Reeked of awesomeness today.

2. Gallen. Awesome tries every week. Go son.

1. Noddy. I wanted to give it to Simmons, but without Noddy, we'd have been smashed.

1. Mcgoldrick- thought his defence was great and look dangerous with the ball.

stevo kept up his great form.

I wouldn't be so hard on Sully.
2 things he did today which didn't come off.

1. He ran at possibly the most offside player all day to get a penalty. Mander didn't rule & the guy tackles him so sully flung it back.
2. The last pass to Simmons was caused by the tackler hitting him from behind.
As for not taking the shot at 1, I think may have been a set play. Since priddis did it in last years GF I have seen it tried a few times now by other teams.
Why was Noddy pointing at the posts? He was supposed to be getting it.
Nobody seemed to upset with him.
Except us.

He has hardly slipped IMHO. He still had a pretty awesome game apart from that pass. His kicking game was damn fine...

Yeah, but I don't think he's been as effective as he was before the Roosters game. :? Still, he easily wasn't our worst today. :) Simmons is still heart attack material.
