3-2-1 Sharks vs Manly

3. Stevo - Id hate to see how we would be going without his forward meters at the moment. The difference when he is on is enormous.
2. Gallen - Was excellent for us today and deserves my 2 points. Still plays the game of a second rower though at 5/8.
1. Peach - Good game by Peach today who played with alot of enthusiasim. He seemed to be in the thick of most things whether it be chasing kicks or setting up try's etc

Highly Commended-
Simmo - Had a much needed improved performance today. I think Manly didnt really try to exploit him though like they could have. Showed the potential he has. Lets see him keep on improving.
Noddy - As per usual had a hand in most of our tries.
Hilder - He doesnt get the wraps he deserves IMO. He is a bit of an unsung hero for our team. Our defence would capitulate without him.

30,000? I'd have wanted the entire Manly side held to blot with just him on the field for the Sharks to deserve that.

lots to be pleased about today with improved individual efforts. still a lot to improve on, especially as a team ie NOT letting teams back into it after going to a good lead - got to question our fitness and mental toughness

3. peach - pure class in attack and defence
2. noddy - runs the show, again
1. gallen - huge effort and two tries

big ups to stevo who is in the best form of his career and makes all the difference when he's on the park. we definitely need another big bopper.

most improved to mcgoldrick with simmo an honourable mention in this category. galloway seemed more aggressive. 'bout time.

glad to see vagana and merrit getting more involved, more still needed. we are a much tougher team to defend against when we use sullivan as another option in attack and this must be developed (just not THAT pass please)

what's wrong with nutley ? i can't remember the last time he made under 50 tackles

im gonna get burnt for saying this but here i go

3 - sully (i think he is a brick wall for the sharks we need him at each and every game he slots in very well and plays to his best each game. he is allways theer when noddy cant be and he is getting better and better all the time. everyone will make there share of mistakes whilst learning and sully has made his fair share but i think his good point out rule his bad)

2 - Gallen (whilst he doesnt produce spectacular plays like a 5/8 should be doing he gets the job done in other ways, his dummy hakf running was top notch and i think he will be picked in the big league team of the week this week and the way the NSW side is at the moment lets look for Gallen for SOO 2 WHOOT WHOOOT)

1 - Jathon Stevens (gotta love the big fella i have a habbit now of calling him jathon i even scream it out at games and people look at me weird)

3 Stevo - takes it forward & is so hard to slow down. Playin great footy.
2 Gallen - Not a bad 5/8 - learnin all the time. Tough & gets involved. 2 good tries.
3 Peach - Good game. Great take under pressure near end of game. needs to get into dummy half more often & run the ball back with more enthusiam (wingers seem to copy him which aint good).
Congrats on 200th game. Great achievement from a wonderful player & person.
Honourable mentions - Vagana - class, Kimmorley - control of the game, McGoldrick - enthusiasm, Isemonger & Bickerstaff - tried hard

3 - Stevo
2 - Gallen
1 - Vagana (would have been 3 if he hadn't let Walker srtoll past him to the line.

Simmo, Peach and Noddy were unlucky to miss out.

yeah reefy

i was a bit harsh on sullivan he had a good game in attack

that last play was a shocker and could of cost the game as manly were throwing it about everywhere

he really needs too put more effort into defence though he seems to get steamrolled regularly and armgrabs too much

how do you think simmons went?

i thought he was ok if unspectacular

3. Stevo
2. Noddy
1. Gallen

On Sully, I think his mother passed away on Saturday night (according to 2GB anyway). Maybe his performance wasn't so bad in the circumstances.

Dally M's were:

3. Kimmorley
2. Walker
1. Gallen

About time Gallen got some recognition, but I'm surprised at Kimmorley getting MOM. As for the Telegraph story, you'd think Manly had lost to themselves. Cronulla = ~ 2 paragraphs.

"has been" was right, goldy really held it together today and gave hoppa what for, it was really good to watch. Special mention go to all. Kimmorley, always, stevo, what can i say, simmons for a more confident performance and tag team of vagana and merritt, things are looking up.
