Hon: Ken, Hiku.

-1 Jazz. Yes he did a lot of work. But I believe we’re a better team when he’s not on the field. Has a bonehead error every single game and this one probably cost us a win. Every run goes 2m and then gets pushed backwards. I really dislike this guy. More rocks than diamonds.
Yep agree to add Papali to as well ,cant see how this guy is rated ahead of Pulu and co offers nothing

can you elaborate on what hes been very good at exactly?
and if you were going to mention the high tackle count, bear in mind a lot of that is self inflicted by making errors and giving away penalties meaning more time spent without the ball, plus the golden point period meant more than normal.

Last night wasn’t self inflicted. He gave away one error in the 80th minute. And he still came up with a mountain of defence and he was still the first forward ready to take it forward.

Iirc by the time golden point came around he already had something like 65 tackles. And 165m or thereabouts. The tackle count is similar to what Michael Luck or Elijah Taylor were putting up with about 3 times the yardage.

I thought Luke was very good out of dummy half last night, when big metres were made it was because he was getting out and getting players over the advantage line

He was but he was also key to two tries against us. The error he made in goal was very unlike Issac tbf.

best game ive seen recently was canberra away last year. last few mins of the game, we marched down the field twice and nailed 2 field goals to level and then win the game before golden point.

Yes, Johnson was superb in that one but, on the whole, he wasn't our field-goal ace. I've just remembered, it was Maloney!

Previous week 3 penalties 1 error, week before that 2 errors 1 penalty. Need to give us a bigger sample size if you are going to defend him.

You go on about the yardage but hes doing zero with it. The thing about Luck was he knew his limitations and let the strike forwards make the big plays. Jazz has yet to learn that he has no strike. Unfortunately, no one else in the current team has strike either.(Tohu out and Pulu not been given a chance).

I'm well aware there are fans of Jazz on this forum and i have no issue with that. Benek and myself arent one of them for various reasons.

Where and who exactly are these strike forwards at the Warriors?

Someone has to dig in when the others won’t.

I don't mind certain penalties such as accidental head highs and holding players down in the tackle - testing the ref. If Scrappys giving away stupid penalties, than he deserves every criticism.

I dont like Jazz either but I do appreciate and believe hes doing his absolute best to not only work hard, but to cut out his penalty and error count as well. He might not be a 'strike' forward but he strikes me as the type to say he is one and then he'll go on to try and prove that with every hit up.

It's shocking we have an experienced forward like Blair who at times acts like a young clueless temp with his hands in his hoodie. That one hit up game has passed and hes been going ok, I just wished he rolled his sleeves up for 80 mins every week.

Yes, but you guys have been talking about metres all year long. rts this many, Ken that many, Jazz this many. But we arent doing jack with it. So tell me what the benefits are again? Territory? Our last tackle options are probably the worst in the comp. And one of the players who gets overly involved in the red zone is Jazz.
Anyway I'm hijacking this thread so will stop now.

...the f**k?

His propensity to get himself involved and be a handbrake inside the 20 was one of the things people bitched about him for. Hell, it was pretty much the only thing.
