Tupou was very good. Packer was solid defensively. Manu was much improved.

Hohaia was terrible. I honestly think that if we had Locke ahead of Hohaia we may have won.

Seymour made some howling errors, but I would drop Maloney before him. He needs a serious wake up call. We missed Johnson and Locke's spark.

I have every confidence we would have won with Locke at fullback, at least he wouldn't have a lazy putz sitting on his lollychute while Mateo kept making break after break. BACK UP YOU DUNCE! Hopeless from Hohaia, cynical from Cleary picking him there. Lost a lot of respect for Ivan over that.

Tupou was shit. A bit too soft for first grade, poor positional play, dodgy hands, slow and soft runs. If I was the opposition I would be getting Tupou involved as much as I can because he's easy and far from a threat.

Seymour was trying way too hard 2 silly penalties, one lead straight to a try. Too weak handling errors and that stupid forward pass. Maloney over him any day!

Though Tupou was tradesman like. However had K Inu been on the wing there was at least 2/3 opportunities where Inus freakish ability would have won us the game.
We lack pace and apart from Mateo lack attacking nous.
We need Inu back and some pace in the side.
Berrigan might have defended ok today but offered nothing in attack.
Our defence was better.
Not sure about the crucifixion of the Huntly express.

Dodgy hands? He had one error, which even that I dispute as it was clearly off his chest and then knocked on by Melbourne.. Poor positional play? It was good for once not knowing that as soon as they pass it to the wings they're going in untouched. Positionally there wasn't a lot he could have done about the Slater kick.

I thought it was easily one of his best efforts in first grade and a massive improvement on where he has been in the past.

LOL. He ran over 100 metres. In the first half particularly he was causing Melbourne all sorts of problems.

Berrigan showed more on attack than anyone has in the centres since before the Anzac test. I am not saying that he will next week, but anybody criticizing Berrigan's game (and not saying a word about Brown's) needs there heads read
