03: Erin Clark. We just go better with him on the park.
02: Metcalf. Would be my 3 but the second half and GK let him down for me. Good game overall though.
01: Capewell. Played really well.

HM: The whole team were on the backfoot in that second half but scrambled well for one another.

That was a terrible last 10 minutes. I was pacing the floor, swearing and cursing that the old warriors were back, leading comfortably and then throwing it away. But they held on. Just. But they did.

Was Capewell injured through last year or something? He looks a totally different player this year.

We are going to need Roger and DWZ back shortly. Lot of injured backs. I thought we'd miss JFH but forwards going OK.

I'm finding it interesting to note that Barnett is not getting the points that he was last year and I'm quietly pleased about it.
I'm unapologetically a huge Barnett fan. To me, he has been one of the absolute best buys we have ever had. He's tough, professional, smart and leaves nothing out there every week. He's also become a good captain.
But last year he was getting the points because of all the above in a team that wasn't offering a whole lot. He was standing out because he was doing his job better than everyone else.
He is still playing just as well but this year, other players are offering more than they were last year... and that is great!
Long may it continue.

So Kosi's turns out Kosi did over forty minutes with a broken shoulder (clavicle is broken).

Might be fifteen weeks plus as he was tackling with it.....(will have to see if they have to operate to repair this one).
I thought he was going bloody well in the first half- he's completely excused for any weak hitups in the second half now!

Really shows how stretched out backline was after Rocco's injury, we did well to hold on. I include TT in that too, he got badly isolated and rattled for a bit but he dug in and came back with a clutch play when it counted. We really could've used RTS's versatility on saturday!

100%. Barnett is performing at the same level as last year but he's not getting the points primarily because of Clark coming in at a career best level, as well as Leka, Niukore, Capewell and Ford all competing for the points on their day. The pack is absolutely firing, and I suspect that might have something to do with JFH, even though hes not on the field at present.

Im very impressed with Chanel. Solid as all hell on D and is slowly advancing his playmaking and kicking. I've noticed he is doing more and more kicking lately, and he is almost always leading the chase too. He is a great kid, Im glad he has bounced back and is starting to get some rewards after his sabbatical.

He is a big part in what we are doing well too.
