3. Capewell - without him we lose imo, absolutely shut down Herbie and esp with Dallin having another special day
2. Barnett - felt he turned up the heat even more despite already great form
1. Clark - what an absolute tank

HMs to many, including TSS, just wow!

Fish added so much extra starch, almost cost us with that stupid send off though
Metcalf involved yet again, growing in confidence each week

DWZ is a mess, but hoping he just needs time

Sweet, I suppose that shows how hard the refs have it at times. I definitely think it was, Warren Smith thought it was, and it doesn't matter if Kevvy did because he thought Mark Nicholls' tip on went backwards and was so one-eyed trying to kick the Phins over the line.

To me, anything borderline is a knock-on, it's how league has always been adjudicated. Which makes the RTS one so obvious. RTS even started swearing and cursing his hands when he did it, and some people stopped.
Interesting thing is that the RTS no knock-on didn’t actually travel forward, but there is generally a clear precedent that handling errors like that are still called knock-ons, which was evidenced when Lekas was correctly called.

Yeah, you basically have to be facing with your hips pointed back towards your own goal line. A knock on has always been what RTS did, and as I said, he actually cursed it loudly - it was very clear on the broadcast.

Always reminds me of cricket umpires who don't give batsmen out who nick it and start to walk. Even if you thought it wasn't out, read the evidence

Dally M points are a funny one, there's no way in the world Metcalf has been the best player in the comp, or even in the top 10...not top 20, either.

4th in our MVP count, and I would say that Clark, Barnett and Egan is absolutely fair in terms of Warriors who have had better starts to the season.

Yeah that's the wild thing about this whole "RTS knock on of the century" discussion to me, is that it's pretty obvious that it literally went backwards. I also agree that it should have been called just for the sake of consistency, but it still shows just how cooked some of the interpretations are.

I'd need to watch Leka's again but I thought if anything it went slightly back but with the optical illusion of going backwards because he went past it. I think once that's gone to the bunker as a try you really should have to see it go forward clearly to overturn.
