Lots of good performances, only two really good ones imo though - opposition was terrible, we were ok - but at least they rolled their sleeves up and showed some guts

3. Lillyman
2. Fusitua
1. Tevaga

Man Ayshford has been a good signing

3. Lillyman - under heaps of pressure as our senior prop. He'd hit about 100m by half-time.
2. Ayshford - was so skillfull and timely in nearly everything he did.
1. Robson - has to get a point. He's been written off but found himself as a late call up. He didn't impede Johnson this time, just complemented him very well.

Tevaga will get plenty of points, both today and in the future.

I thought Lane lacked a bit of fire? But tbh I didn't really know what to expect. Sipley's a beast, let's see more of these two young props next game.

As said, today was a rocket up the arses of the Stupid Six, as well as Luke, who responded well.

Ps, Kata's tries have dried up which is a bit of a worry as it happened last year. Started off with a hiss and a roar but then didn't score for about 15 games until the last one.

3 Tevaga - immense in defense
2 Fusitua - we missed him on the wing (that sounds weird), but he played well
1 Ayshford - good touches, would have been higher if not for the Aitken try

Lillyman just missed out... had a big game but those 2 dropped balls early on were criminal. We were lucky the Dragons didn't have the points in them to punish those mistakes.

Luke was good. Sipley had a couple of promising touches. Gubb scored (tempted to give him points in celebration).

3 Fusitua. May have just solved a problem as in if Leuluai is out, how do we get Lolohea into 6 where they want him to develop. It's simple, Fus is himself a gifted fullback it seems
2 Tevaga. Everywhere man. Really solid.
1. Johnson. He was popping up at first receiver on both sides, and he created opportunities and ran when he needed to put the foot down.

Lillyman after his early errors, Palavi, Luke,Gubb (best game for him) and Ayshford were good as well. Perhaps one of our gutsiest ever wins that. Hopefully that's a line in the sand and expectation on standards and effort have been set. This could be a massive blessing in disguise.

3. Tavega (what a tough and handy player, and super strong for a "small" guy)
2. Fusitua (very solid at the back. Can't remember a single mistake. Would love if this gives Tui a chance to slot back in the halves)
1. Lillyman (would be higher but those back-to-back dropsies were killers!)

Young guys all looked pretty good but I was a bit underwhelmed by Lane. Sipley and Palavi nice efforts. Luke back to being very productive again.

Jono Wright was such a handbrake in attack. Had Fusitua been on the wing we would have had two more tries.

3 Tavenga
2 Fusitua
1 Luke

Jazz was awesum. As Iafeta said he was everywhere. When Sipley made that break Jazz was the only one supporting. Thought him and luke complimented each other well

Hon mentions

Lillyman, took over as forward leader
Allwood made good decisions

Fus looked dangerous every run. Much improved from Luke and Gubb.

Really need to see more of Lane, no point buying him if we aren't going to give him big minutes.

3. Lillyman, beast
2. Fusitua, won me over big time, #1 jersey is his
1. Tevaga, > Luke and also forcing him to pull his socks up

HM to practically everyone, even the Gubbster turned in a solid show

Every single player (yes even Wright) outplayed last weeks best by a mile (I think Thompson won that).
3 that week equated to about 0.5 this week.

Yeah, Thompson, I thought, was out worst performing winner ever.
