Fantastic

3- Harris
2- Katoa
1- Lawton

lots of positives. Seriously considered Nikorima, RTS, Maumalo, Egan, Taunoa-Brown and Blair for the 1 point

Even Green started to look ok and Blair impressed me... which he hasn’t done since he was with Melbourne

The Dragons were hopeless, but don't take anything away from us. Great performance- up there for mine. 46 from 48 complete. 4 errors. 90% tackle efficiency and great defensive patterns.

Not sure why Herbert is kicking. Not sure why Green is still getting a gig.

Paasi is on report, but he should be fine.

Green was good in that game. He drove the team around nicely and the majority of his kicks were good. He was involved is the first 2 tries and defended really well. Yeah he is slower but he is the rudder we need at the moment. Nikorima showed what he can do when he can chime in on a special play when someone else is organising which Green provides him.

Plenty of others get credit. Although Drags were pretty robotic on attack, i thought our D was Rock Solid and as aggressive as it’s been in a long time.

1: RTS - 250M, superlative stuff
2: Maumalo - 251M, monstrous
3- Egan - crisp, crisp service that made all our metres possible

HMs Blair, Harris, Katoa, Papali’i all great contributions

minus points - nobody, was gonna give Green a minus but he closed the game out really well. An attacking handbrake though.

3 RTS lead from the front as always
2 Harris - pack leader
1 Katoa - big engine, gets thru the gain line. plenty to like.
HM : everyone pitched in. I like the look of the King. gets over the advantage line a bit more than some of the others.
Green didnt get his kicking game going till the 70th minute. Hope the rust is well and truly shaken off.

I think Green’s game showed what CHT needs to do. He needs to get his controlling game up to scratch. If he can get that there, he’s better than Green who is never going to be more than slow but steady at this point. But until he can control a game better than Green he’s gotta wait his turn. Nikorima should stay where he is, as should Egan/Lawton, and we’ve got Roache waiting too at hooker.

What a big difference it makes when our forwards go forward! Lead by Harris (211m) and Katoa (180m), all of our forwards made over 100m, with the exception of the 2 who only had 30 minutes.

No errors and dumb penalties really helped our situation out...while our attack wasn't great, we've got players like RTS, Nikorima, Hiku etc who can all make 1 or 2 chances a game, add in a little bit of structure or a try from a kick here or there, and we're up to 16-20 points already.

I don't mind when we're beaten by a better team on the day, but if we stick to this no error/penalties and make a team work for it, I think we're gunna win more than we lose

Yeah, and the Dragons did a Warriors - their forwards didn't get anything going and their backs did all the work lol.

Might be unpopular but Papalii looked alot better today. Not as cumbersome and slow as before.

Also Harris in the middle intrigues me.. I think I like it.

Isaac was tight and mistake free. His effort has never really been an issue. Definitely got a pass today.

Gee, the Dragons were woeful.

How much of the effort & cohesion today is due to being in camp together? Maybe it should become a regular occurrence.

Yeah, I get this. I think I've simmered down a little and can concede Green's part in the win last night. Just so frustrating to put together great sets and then finish so poorly, so often

3. Harris.
2. Katoa
1. Sheck

A half point would've gone to Brown.

HM to Lisone (I'm not being cryptic or facetious there).
