3- Egan. Dynamite. When he has a platform and runs, he's top class
2- Barnett. Massive first shift, allowed Webster to not take him and JFH off at same time
1- CHT. Thought he was huge tonight, runs great lines and never misses tackles

HMs to a lot of guys. Geez we defended SO MUCH better. That was the platform for what we did

3 - Barnett - see above. And the intensity of every minute he's on the field.
2 - CHT - see above
1- Egan - see above

I came here to say those same three things. HM almost everyone but especially Taupiki! He gets a HHM!

3 Barnett
2 Egan
1 CNK

HMs for most. Pompey was either anonymous/outclassed till the flick pass. I think Berry played well in NSW cup so might be back soon.
Kicking game is still bog average. CHT has a really weak boot on him. Luke should have been the one going for 40-20s not him. He got 2 in preseason. Also, some of the box kicks those 2 put up were atrocious. Needs work...

Surprised at the lack of love for Clark, made the most metres of any Warriors forward, and was keeping the Warriors pack in it early when it was end to end stuff

3: Metcalf
2: Clark
1: CNK

could’ve given points to a lot of players tonight. No weak links and almost everyone chimed in with an individual moment.

Was going to wait to watch the game again before giving points, but yeah, nah

3 - Clark - really impressed with not only his general physicality but also his decision-making - looked much better starting the game, too
2 - Metcalf - first few touches he looked like a deer in headlights, but got progressively better. really nice touches in the CHT and Ali tries. Not a complete performance, and went into his shell a little bit in second half, but overall, pretty strong, imo
1 - Egan - spot on with his decision-making

HMs to everyone, really + Webby (though would've loved to see more of Leka and a little less of Niukore). Would've also liked to see Vaumaga get more minutes, but hard to know where they would've come from - even Walker only played 26 minutes according to nrl.com.

I reckon if you went to the shop where they sell wild dreams and said,' I want a warriors win by 20 points over Manly this week', they'd kick you out and say you are being too wild.

3. Egan
2. Barnett
1. Clark

Thats quite a hard pick this week as everybody did their jobs. Capewell and Niukore were both really solid. Niukore's runs were much more effective. Capewell much, much better on D.

3. Egan - Sometimes we forget that he's just as critical as SJ and Tohu were, long may he stay fit.
2. Metcalf - Still a bit messy and disappears at times, but such a turnaround from last week.
1. Fisher-Harris - Sigh of relief that he's the same Penrith Fish. No nonsense, big work rate and showed glimpses of ball play.

HMs Barnett, Clark, CHT

I absolutely cannot give points to RTS, words can't describe how infuriating it was to watch him scooting off and leaving Saab unmarked. It happened a dozen times, it was insane! If a couple of passes stuck + Turbo stayed on, these were gifts. Smart teams will figure this out and kill us.

CNK worked hard as always but is starting to look seriously slow and cooked, hoping he's still working into top gear.
I wish Marata didn't have butter fingers.

yeah, fair shout. I guess it was one of those nights where a lot of players could get points and it comes down to what struck you or what lens you were looking for. I was most pleasantly surprised to see our spine operating cohesively and constructively.

Also, at this best, Clark (as underwhelmed as I was of his signing) also plays a fairly rock-solid, dependable game which lays the platform for more creative players to shine. When they do, they are more likely to get points. When they don’t, Clark will get them.

yeah, it’s actually inconvenient but I think we need to make a switch there
