Big improvement over last week, actually enjoyed it, still not the result we wanted but then again it was good see a bit of resolve again finally.
Thought Fish had improved alot actually put in a few good tackles.Mannering? Was that the same guy or a look alike? I doubt he'll have another like that again.
Anyway I now have a bit of hope that we will see something half decent come of the year.

Didn't mind Tupou tonight.. Hurrell must have a month or so with the vulcans, he just doesn't look fit. Stuffed if I know who can replace him though, get on the phone to Dugan maybe lol.

Not sure the hate on Mateo. His blind side raids looked promising. He needs ball in hand more not less. Tupou is mud. Has he EVER made a play that was surprising, a play where the commentator says something like 'he had no right to score that' , never. Godinet has to play 60 minutes with maybe TL slotting in when he is off. If Taylor never played for us again I wouldn't be sad. Another player who has never done anything outstanding.

In looking to replace Hurrell dont discount Peyroux. As I live some distance away from Maurice Rd Penrose ie Gold Coast Qld to get live league I go to the titans home games.
Peyroux looked ok in the games he played , he has got the will to win.
Hurrell and Tupou are a liitle lazy and a bit slow in the football attitude department.

Refs had a shocker, thankfully video ref finally stepped in at the end on Locke knock on call, which was either deliberate knock on or man tackled without the ball.

Much better effort from our boys this week. Glad to see Elliot listened to my advice in the team v roosters thread and brought Godinet on with 10 to play in the first half and kept him on all second half ;-)

St Rapira must've injured his glass self again? Though if not, still good choice to keep him off. Not really sure what he brings to this team.

Hurrell needs early ball in a position where he can be one-on-one with his opposite. But his defensive reads are so terrible he should be in the vulcans.

I've come here for a reality check after missing the game. On 'Stuff' it was all about 'magic Johnson'. I thought he single handedly won it for the Warriors.

Then I quickly found out they didn't even win.

Not sure why Feleti went with the fancy pass at the end when a simple pass to his man would have sufficed. He had a good game for the most of it though, had a blatant strip missed by Ashley Klown who is without doubt the worst ref in the comp.

Hurrell looks short of a gallop, may need a few weeks in the Vulcans. No doubting he has immense potential. The first try, I felt for Hurrell and Fish that I'd come in here and they'd be blasted when really the inside channels didn't work hard enough to push out. Fish's chase on Jennings was an outstanding effort. He's just got to get the ball in the clear and he's going to burn a few teams. Lowrie was good on D. Simon Mannering's hands were horrible tonight. Worst game of his career.
