after watching the most pathetic game of the season on Friday night - enjoy the rest of the season - well won -

However, you like us won't win too many more - it looks like another year you guys won't win a premiership...oh when was the last one you won??

WTF??

How do children get to be moderators?

Oops, I can see where Noddy's 'injury' has caused some confusion here...

'One Ball' is actually Mellor...He has had that name for ages among the players. I hate to think why!

Noddy in side - we have won 66%
Dykesy in side - we have won 75%
Mellor in side - we have won 88%

Noddy out - we have lost 50%
Dykes out - we have lost 100%
Mellor out - we have lost 80%

So Mellor is proving to be a bit of a rock for us! That's good, I like the guy.

Still, Dykes looks like a real key.

Thanks Jack!

3. Mellor. Turned the game for us.
2. Sully. Won the game for us.
1. Bailey. Where would we be without this guy?

The awards from the club:

Game Ball - Phil Bailey

Presidents - Hutch and his acceptance speach was F*ck Yeah which brought the house down

Sponsors - Adam Dykes and his speech went something like this: blah blah blah and I'm happy we beat the roosters because evryone hates the roosters which brought another load of cheering.

Geez I love this sh!t. Wish I could come to every game.

3 Points - Phil Bailey: Deservedly scored the try that sealed the victory for the Sharkies. Was tireless in defence making 31 tackles and not missing one but also used his strength to attack well. His fists of fury helped him top the offload chart for the game (5) and his 11 hit-ups were just as valuable.

2 Points - Adam Dykes: He let Kimmorley get his confidence back by not making him play. It was Dykes who did the tough stuff creatively when the Sharks were struggling in the first half. He defended strongly, to finish second on the tackling charts and kicked seven times to take the pressure off his captain.

1 Point - Michael Sullivan: When he came on it sparked the Sharks into a try feeding frenzy. 14 hit-ups for a staggering 158 metres along with a try assist and a number of handy offloads are just a few of the reasons that Sharks fans are hoping the rumours he is England bound are just that, merely rumours.

Bails
Dykes
Sully

Mellor missed 4 very clear 1 on one tackles. They were poor efforts that if playing against competent centres or fullbacks like St George, melbourne Broncs etc, would have resulted in 24 points. He is very , very lucky peach & covell cleaned up for him.
Gallen, hands & missed tackles
Noddy, missed tackles are going to cost us.
Bird went well & I think front row is his position.
Nutts & Galloway would have come close as they played quite well.

You're flogging a dead horse. Mellor was no better than Goldy but psychologically many seem to of convinced themselves he was. He took a very poor option when he scored as well and was only an inch from looking like a fool. Probably cost us 2 points from the conversion as well as the 2 unmarked support players would of scored much closer to the sticks.

When it happened I didn't even notice the blokes on his right.

Maybe he was in such a panic when he caught the ball he thought they might have been defenders.

I know when I play Oztag I am oblivious to any team mate once Im in half a gap, everything is just a blur.

He should of had a look though.

He probabaly thought Mander was gonna blow his whistle again anyway.

Maybe Carch, but it's a watery excuse

They would of been calling for the ball I'm sure. Maybe Big Fish drowned out the calls

The players inside him should (nay must) have called for it. Especially given that the player immeadiately inside him was Dykes who always seems to let players know that he is open.

I commented on the fact he was lucky to score that try in my match report this week. Probably important to note that if the ball goes to Dykes or Sully inside him then Covell probably makes the conversion meaning the Bailey try ends the game as a contest rather than sees us scrambling to avoid Golden Point.
