3-2-1 v Sharks

Heard a caller on the radio saying that for the Sharks tries out wide he wasn’t in the frame, and when the Sharks are scoring with an overlap out wide with a man sent off then the fullback takes the organising blame for the stuff up
Agree, sending people the wrong way including himself.

3 Walsh - reckon his relatively frequent brilliance gets underrated because he’s always judged subject to lofty expectations

Berry and Vailea both unbelievably poor…it sucks to dump on inexperienced youngsters but you just can’t carry liabilities like that in the NRL

….and given the spectacular ineptitude of our ‘last cab off the rank’ centre options at this point, it makes it all the more ludicrous that Aitken isn’t playing there

Ideally Vailea would be dumped for that last try alone. Play shut down on the last tackle and he basically lets them score so he can ham up an injury.

Symptomatic of our misery. Vailea quits on the play, Walsh falls over with cramp, the rest of the team have given up. So poor.

so much this - but we've been saying that for so long, it's unfathomable

Yeah, it just reeks of hard headedness.

So many bad performances it’s hardly worth mentioning them all but I’ll call out SJ because he better start showing some value soon or he may as well retire.

We need a new forward rotation that has Lodge come on when AFB goes off. It’s too much of a hand break losing them both at once.

We need an entirely new 2,3,4,5.
We have the absolute worst 2,3,4,5 in the competition. Not a one of them would find a spot in reserve grade of the other clubs. Of them all, I'm most disappointed with Berry. I thought he showed loads of early promise. I hope he digs in and bounces back but none of these guys are up to standard right now.

Need Curran and Tohu back
Someone said yesterday the Johnson might show Hynes how to play half back but what happened was Hynes showed Johnson how to play halfback and fullback at the same time
One of the worst Warriors games ever and boy there's been a few stinkers

Berry is mentally absolutely shot to pieces. He needs to go and learn how to defend in ressies, with the pressure off. I still back him to come good, but it's so clear he has no idea how to defend in the line in league - and defending next to a turnstile (SJ) can't help.

I have to defend him there, he got a raised elbow to the throat. That everyone, including the bunker missed on 6+ replays.
Lodge got penalised last week for that.Screenshot_20220509-214429_Kayo Sports.jpgScreenshot_20220509-214405_Kayo Sports.jpg
Still drop him though.

That's exactly what I mean though. He was hit with a pretty soft sort of an elbow in the throat and then in a very slow motion sort of way he reeled away. It wasn't as if he was rendered physically incapable of holding on in the tackle. It then turned out he wasn't injured and didn't need to leave the field. He was trying to draw attention to the foul play.
