3 - Maloney, he looks so much better when he runs the ball and his kicking was first class, both in general play and at the goal.
2 - Cords, was a beast on the edge in both attack and defence. Both he and Guerra played the full 80, good signs.
1 - JWH - worked his arse off in the middle and took us forward all night. We lost a bit of momentum initially when JWH, Moa and Liu came off, but Evans, Napa and Taukeiaho lifted and got us going forward in the middle again. We have a very strong bench.

Not a great game from Pearce, threw some really bad balls, but his cover defence is second to none. And what struck me was he never dropped his head even after those bad passes, he kept in the game, kept pushing up and his deft kick to get a repeat set at the 76min was classy.

Fergo is coming along really nicely, he is going to be one hell of a strike weapon come the second half of this season.

Overall a really good defensive effort, we put shoulders into them all game.

Agree with Chook's assessment but there were some shades of 2014 there last night – especially the short drop kick late in the game where a plodding Idris was allowed to regather. I know it's only round three but I'm waiting for that killer instinct of 2013 to re emerge.

Good impact from our bench again, SST and Napalm were great. Napalm snapping Segs was brilliant. Thought RTS was great as well. Close to my MOTM, positional play is looking really good and he works his ass off for the team. 20 hit ups for 224m is outstanding.

3 Fergo – Not just for his 2 tries but for his other work in attack and his defence was great again
2 Maloney – Always looked threatening
1 Moa – Made some really strong runs when we needed them.

How good was that hit on segs though!!

Also, leaderboard after week 2 is

RTS – 4
Pearce, Aubo – 3
Cords, Jenko - 1

3 points: Jared Warea-Hargreaves. For mine he helped lay the platform that got us the win. Going by the stats on nrl.com made 16 runs for 166 metres and made 30 tackles (missing only 1). Really took it to the Penrith pack last night. Stats look even better when you consider he only played 50-60 minutes last night.

2 points: Boyd Cordner. 13 runs for 137 metres made, and 33 tackles with only 1 miss in 80 minutes of playing time. Quality stuff.

1 point: James Maloney, Looked slick last night with the ball in hand and laid on 2 tries. Also kicked 4 out of 4 with the boot, most of which were difficult kicks.

3. JWH. Was enormous. Ran for 166 quality metres, the most by any forward, from both sides. Played the first 30 mins before he was subbed and most certainly got the youngs off our bench firing when they came on.

2. Maloney. Was busy and composed all night

1. Guerra. Tacked his guts out. His only blemish was his DM nospam29 moment.

Really pleased with the performance, i could of easily have given points to Fergo, JWH, Napa and a couple of others.

I'm tipping Fergo to have a HUGE game this week against the faiders.

Hard to leave out the likes of Napa, Guerra, Maloney and Fergy Ferg, but it was that type of game. Top performances across the park.

If anyone saw last night's edition of Sterlo on Fox Sports, James Segeyaro wore a special effects microphone during the game Monday night. You should have heard the noise when Dylan Napa crunched him with that tackle late in the game. Napa asked him if he was alright, but the tackle was that hard that it -

destroyed the special effects microphone the Panthers hooker was wearing for Fox Sports' Sterlo program.
