Imo best two aspects of yesterdays win:
We showed we could grind - the last 3 weeks against Roosters, Sharks and Titans we've got into the grind and haven't given up. Earlier on in the year we would have lost these games. Felt like we had a few things go against the run of play in the first half and couldn't get any momentum, but the boys put their heads down and grafted through. Really impressive.
Our 2nd half performance - 1 error, 1 penalty and 95% completion set. Amazing stats for us. I thought that our last plays were pretty average (SJ injured so that hindered us), but it shows that if you complete your sets and get to your kick, you're a good chance of winning the game. Imo, this has to be the minimum standard we set ourselves- cut the silly penalties and errors out of the game and we'll go a long way to beating most teams.
