Only watched last 55 mins...

3 - Nikora - great line running

2 - Xerri - much better decision-making

1 - Chad - playing his role well - allows Johnson to be the creative one...

HM - SJ & Duges & Gal & Feefs - for playing busted and still having a go...

3- SJ- quiet first half but we don't win if he doesn't turn it on 2nd half
2- Chad- not quite as quiet first half, not quite as brilliant 2nd as SJ, but pretty important
1- Brailey (snr)- has really turned it on this year, very dangerous up the middle

HMs- Xerri, Nikora, Kennedy and Uele- all these relatively inexperienced kids had great games

Prior and Fifita (and Uele) gradually pulled that back off the Panthers, the kids turned it on, and the spine took advantage.

Some worrying issues, especially with the lack of execution, but we showed again when we turn it on we can play very well.

Nikora dominated that 2nd half.Clever player and fast.
Xerri I'd kill for his speed
Johnson getting to back to his early Warrior's class

I made a statement not that long ago Xerri could be our next E.T.He accelerated last night passing one player at speed.I thought that's flipping fast, then he does a Dundee( "you call that fast ,.this is fast") puts the afterburners on and goes even faster to blitz the final defender and score.

Replay on Fox at 8this morning,be there or be square.

He actually made only 27 tackles. 10 under his average per game. I reckon Gallen’s presence in the middle made the big difference there. JB is easy to target, PG not so much and they didnt do anything much through the middle. It was all edge stuff through Maloney and Cleary from them. Capewell made 42 which was 8 above his average per game which is a fair indicator

The Pied Piper showed a bit more than he has been. That’s encouraging.

3. Fifita - courage and presence
2. Gallen - courage and presence
1. Nikora - courage and brilliance

I don’t think they expected Penrith to be slick and I reckon the game plan was wrong in the first 40. Trying to get outside was silly when they are full of lazy snarks in the middle. Credit to Bomber I suppose for re directing the second half and playing a bit more direct. That’s the way they opened up the outside. Viliame Kikau, superstar? Myth. Can’t tackle, missed 6

Wasn’t it great to go the full length of the field to score from the kickoff set.

Normally we drop it...

& here I was thinking only 6 minutes to go, doubt we can conjure up another try in that time, under the pressure of the clock.
