Will have to watch the replay , but Nicho putting young in a straight jacket is nuts . Throw in the 10mins before half time .

3 Brailey - not perfect, but a gazillion tackles and some excellent runs, some of which led to crucial penalties.
2 Tricky - kicking was very good and went a bit unrecognised I think
1 Talakai - others may have better stats, but the momentum shift this dude causes is special.

Lots of great performers including afb, Burns, Wilton, JC and Nico.

Just quietly, love JC in the 13. Nice pass on him and bends the line nicely when he runs. Agreed with his choices most times and he made a mountain of tackles in limited minutes.

Burns - the lift off this bloke. As soon as he scored. Game over
Trindell - media will be going the nicho rant, but he is is winner
Brailey - he made it count where it matters.
Hynes was on song as well for mind.
Great game

Everybody gets 3 points.

And Reece Walsh gets 2 for his performance last week.
He single handedly saved us a flight to suncorp and head-fooked Sticky's guys to the point where they had a go but when push came to shove, the demons of 7 days ago crushed any belief.

Really hard to score this week, but think my top 3 are Brailey, Tricky and Ronnie - based purely on the last tackle plays that we reaped rewards from. Tricky’s kicks were very good, Ronaldo’s chase was outstanding, and there was a very clear tactical play to finish the 5th tackle in position to allow Tricky to stick the bomb up with minimal risk of 7 tackle set/out on the full. Whether it be getting repeat sets from dropped ball or sticking them in their corner and making them work out, it worked a treat and was one of the main things that got us the win.

3 points for the Ref, wasn’t perfect but close to the best officiated game in a long time.
Even Ricky couldn’t complain

Tough doing 3 2 1. A really mature performance without panic.

The halves played their roles and combined so well. Trindall's kicking is key to his game. For Hynes it is defence first then take the chances with the ball.

Tricky's work in the first try is superb. Spots the weakness, organises the play, drops a subtle ball on the mark for Hynes to throw the cut out.

The second try was again a class combination. Tricky takes the space and gets the line sliding. Dops Hynes under with a late flick. Hynes running and footwork to get to the line was strong.

Talakai changed momentum when they were on top physically. Brailey was strong. AFB stood up. Burns was great. Ronnie and Iro did a mountain of work. Tieg was strong

3. Tricky - patient, yet clinical. Kicking on point. Exploited their weaknesses
2. Hynes - owned big moments with clarity.
1. Talakai - created the momentum for the 2 tries late in the first half that changed the game.

HM - Burns, AFB, Ronnie, Tieg, Brailey

Way too hard to pick three.

Hynes, AFB, Talakai (this guy is so underrated by anyone else but sharks fans), Wilton, Iro, Ronaldo, Katoa, Burns, Uele.. they were all good. Trindall had a great second half, he just made one or two poor choices in those early stages. Got saved on one shit kick with a Canberra knock on. Needs to get those rushes of blood out of his games
