3 - Royce Hunt
2 - Kennedy
1 - Talakai

HM - Ronaldo, Iro and Trindall second half efforts, Herb as well.

Another HM - Coach game plan so much better. Having Toby start means the motor running out is easier to interchange, made both players (Toby and Tom) more effective. Whatever he did at half time worked. Punching Tooks on as soon as Hunt was lunching through the middle… much better coaching this week.

Doing it a bit differently

Going to start with special mentions

Kennedy - people wonder why he's in the team. Watch his kick defusals. One of the best in the game under a highball. Fearless and committed.
Atkinson -can't pass but geez he did a job on keeping Ezra quiet. Was all over him like a rash
Hazelton - For 2 big efforts plays that no one commented on during play. 1st was in first half when the Sharks had 3 on Haas about 30 out and he was going to offload but Tommy cam at him from the inside as 4th man in and stopped the offload. 2nd was after a broncos break in the second half. Nana Bun got away on the next play and was going to offload for sure except Tommy swallowed him.

Katoa - lifted his workrate in the second half and you could just see he was playing for his mates. Was all over the park ready to get involved and get a run on.

3. Joseph Suaali'i
2. Roy Sunt
1. Sifakai

The Sharks now have 6 wins against top 8 teams this season with the Dolphins to come next week. Narrative....
With 3 of last 5 rounds being wins in what was always going to be a testing time. 2 without Nicho.

I have the last 5 weeks as a big pass. Anyone not happy with the last 5 weeks is hard to please and probably a tad on the unrealistic side.

Every team will hit a flat spot. This was an important win to stop a 3 match losing streak.

Beating the Dolphins then into a bye will leave the Sharks in a great place for the run in.

Shhhhhhhh! We ducked under the radar probably best to stay there for a while while jagging a few "lucky " wins . At least till after State of Orgasms .

Reason for my laugh was 3. Joseph Suaalii.

With Hunt killing it as an impact player off the bench how can Fitz drop him now even with BHU coming back and Tieg?

I’m still not convinced with Iro.

Sifa and Ronnie have a better chemistry.

Hynes coming back next week.

Do we keep Trindall or Atkinson?

Fitz has some tough decisions to make next week and going forward.

3....Will. Safe as a bank and was under pressure all night. Silky hands for the first try and nice chase with tricky.
2.... Royce...was a wrecking ball
1....Tricky.... sensational second half. Chase to ankle tap Mariner was first rate.
Sifa was a beast as usual
Iro defensively was huge in the second half. Still learning his trade
McInnes backing up and going hard all game was a credit to him. His comments in the presser saying it's a privilege to play for the Sharks says it all really.

Give Iro some time... what's he 10 games in now? Tricky is a no brainer once Nicho is back tho Nicho's injury was a blessing in disguise. While Atkinson needs to work on his passing he's also a work in progress. Maybe 6 games in? He's been part of away wins against the Storm and Donkeys and is a genuine back up half that we desperately needed given Tricky's bender and Nicho's dusty calf.

Was at a 50th tonight with limited exposure to the game and drinking heavily but from what I did catch I saw Sifa leading the way again.
That merkin is as hard as woodpecker lips!
Changes the momentum of the game as soon as he comes on, in defence and attack.

It’s tough this week.
3 Royce, don’t usually give point to someone who has so few minutes, but genuinely changed the momentum
2 Brails. For mine his best game against very good opposition. His service was exceptional.
1 bubba. Had some horror balls to content with. Or Sifa. He was huge all game

3 - Sifa…. I just love the bloke. All intent!
2 - Katoa - our premier winger, the best in the comp
1 - Iro - works his nuts off. And similar to Sifa and Brit, looks like he puts 100% into every contact, with and without the ball.

Hunt was the game changer, so should probably get points, but i go with my 3 anyway. Thought Brailey was terrific too - but, like I say every week, not 1 bit of craft or attempt to burrow over in the final 10 all game - he doesn’t even have eyes up looking for an opportunity for himself, never even a glance. He needs to be a threat to lfit our game in good ball. That being said, his long ball for the Tricky try was delicious and deserved credit - wasn’t even mentioned by the commentary team.
