Trindall was quiet in the second half. He didn’t get good ball. He was tremendous in the first half.
Toby was good bar the shite play the ball.
Ronnie was good too.

Frenzy.

3. Trickstar
2. Britstar
1. Tobestar

Most consistent over the full 70 minutes

Played good but had some unfortunate moments. Wade and Nicho.

Best debut with about 24 hours of hype to deal with KJD

3 Toby (hasn't he come a long way in a month!?)
2 Tricky (showed Nico how to be a half in that first 40)
1 Nico (good running game and excellent defence. Nice goal kicking again too.)

HMs to Nikora and Wade. Both made important contributions across the board.

3. Trindall - scores one, sets one up and saves one. Beautiful pass to put Wade through a hole which should led to another one. Smart and more consistent kicking than Hynes.
2. Rudolf - led the pack. Went forward, much better defensively. More than just a personality player now.
1. Nikora - ran his lines, took tough carries, defended well, critical involvement in the final try.

Winning ugly is still winning. Previous Sharks teams would find a way to lose that. Bombed tries from a lack of composure. Poor errors are still the issue. They have to develop the ruthless streak in order to make a dent in the finals. 70% completion rate isn't good enough in big games.

The points thing is tough.
Trindell deserves plenty of praise (when involved) - looks and plays slick
Toby was bloody great - I’m a fairly middling on the bloke, but he was and has been recently great.
Dykes showed plenty of potenial - a few
Errors, but tough ones.
Miller - out of position, but dead set balls. The main Connor Tracey who always plays out of position - hope your okay

Always good to win but that was an ordinary display
70% completion and 19 errors wont get us very far in the finals
but good efforts from
3.Toby (huge improvement last couple weeks)
2.Trindall (great to see him play well in what he would consider a less than satisfactory year so far)
1.Wade (his efforts last 2 weeks with Dale out have been outstanding)
HM - Nicho - defence much improved, thre a couple of poor passes

3. Nicho’s defence has come leaps and bounds from the start of the season, his defence alone was outstanding last night.

2. Toby his best game of the year 150+ meters big a 60 min

1. Split between Tricky, Nikora, Ronnie & Kade for his defensive positioning all night

Good to see Trindall silence the critics. He's a great half.

Does anyone else think Ronnie would have scored on his big break in the first half but his attempt to give the try to Dykes screwed things up?

Absolutely. A regulation pass instead of the flick and Dykes is under the posts.
