Consistency in performance - I love it. I am sensing that the difference between our best and worst performances will be Melbourne and Roosters like.

Good balance between structured and eyes up footy. It is a joy to watch and I am loving the ride.
They are all talking "buy of the season"
Fitzy is the real one winning that, hands down.

3. Talakai - Absolute beast. I'd be tempted to keep him at centre if that's the game he is going to play. Tracey can take the Trindall 2-5 minutes per game. 17 tackles breaks (holy sh*t!) and over 220m running, but a nice passing game. His game has jumped to another level.

2. Brailey - He is showing how good he can be when he has the forwards that work hard. He is sneaky, smart, gives out great service. I can't wait to see him continue to develop.

1. McInnes - He is great in D, but we knew this. His hitups have really impressed me. They're fast, strong, and results in a fast play the ball. His average play the ball speed for the game was 2.79 seconds which I can't remember seeing anyone close to that.

Honourable mentions
- The forwards as a whole. Dominated the Knights.
- Ronnie and Sione - the workload they got through was fantastic and helped create set momentum and the forwards be on the front foot.
- Moylan - was a big doubter, but he has looked good and I think he is getting better.

I'm just loving this team. The work, the effort, and the discipline is something I haven't see in a Sharks team.

Tolman ... Few weeks ago someone said he goes down like a sack of shit when tackled .... fair enough , but he gets up Quick ...and rubs a hand full of the shit in the oppositions eyes.

Might be worried to see him in a grand final team but he is a rl footballer and is value to the sharks now. Hope he enjoyed his 300 ... Well deserved! BTW wonder what his PTB speed is ? bet its better than Woods , ( stand intackle while defense sets )

What I liked a lot was that it wasn’t really our new guys that shone. They were good, but Talakai, Ronnie, Briton, brails we’re outstanding. Culture war is being won.

And a mention for McInnes. He made a real difference when he came on. Looks the goods
His metres were handy and his play the ball speed was insane. Made a massive difference when he came on. He is going to be an absolute weapon with a few more miles in the legs.

Watching him at the game was a real insight - looks smaller than expected, quick as and a dead set weapon.
Can pick a poor performer, just give the points to Talakai - dead set entertainer and full beast mode. Epic

1. Big sexy, mostly for the unsexy stuff he did. Has come a long way since the early headless chook days!

BHU...

I could keep going.

Very impressive dominating performance although I do think we dropped off in intensity around the 55min mark for a little while. Our line speed became slower and let the Knight gain some meters. Could have been a bit of fatigue, and bringing Toby, BHU and Dale back on was when the magic started to happen once again.

Talakai though, what a beast. He's heading into elite territory and I think he could definitely play in the backline from now on. Wade coming back with view to fielding our best side eventually but even so, what a replacement if we need one. Wow!!

3 - Sifa. Gagai was the form centre in the comp and Sifa gave him a f**ken bath. Incredible
2 - Brailey. Great D and crafty in attack
1 - Dale. Beast in the middle

Katoa unlucky to miss out. He is on fire at the moment

I think I want to see sifa up against a few fast, sweeping plays in defence before I am convinced he is a full timer there.

Balanced perspective there. Sifa was great last night. Destructive and skillful. Best on the park.

Gagai did beat him on the outside at least twice. It didn't hurt because the cover defence was spot on. Moylan did an especially good job covering his inside shoulder. They didn't throw much shape at him to have to make quick decisions.

Interesting to see how Fitz determines Talakai's best position.
