I kind of got the impression that that was one of those games where maybe 2/3 of the team were putting in and playing ok, but there were constantly 3 or 4 on the field letting the side down badly and we consequently got spanked. You just can’t afford to carry liabilities against good sides, plenty of people here have been saying that about Hiku in particular and it was proven last night in spectacular fashion. Thankfully two of our former disasters waiting to happen (Ken and Kata) have fixed their game up at least so all is not lost.

I liked his efforts on defence. He might've missed a few but I thought he went ok.

Yeah it was hard to find 2 other players to give points to.

The refs were really good. They missed Hetherington throwing it forward once but 1 mistake all night isn't too bad.

Lol what about the call for the pass to Maumalo in the first half that was called back forward (it wasn’t), another forward pass call on the Warriors that wasn’t forward a minute or two later, then two missed forward passes from the Panthers later in the half? Four wrong calls that all went the same way so there wasn’t even a square up. And that was just the forward pass calls.
