Really tough to score this week, lots of good performances.

I’d go;
3 - Ronnie
2 - WK
1 - Tieg

That 1st half defence had vintage 2016 Matty Prior written all over it - heavy heavy contact, and then rag them backwards 5 meters. We attacked with our defence, and O LOVED it!!! It sucked every bit of energy out of Souths. The starting pack absolutely monstered them with and without the ball.

I’m a Kennedy fan - when he’s fit, he’s elite. Sign him up, I’m sure his contract value will give us good value and bang for bucks.

On Souths, their fullback is a gun - lacks the physical attributes of Latrell, but has all the stuff Latrell doesn’t have in bucket loads. They’d be mad to bring Latrell back in at 1 over that kid.

Did you see pregame when Fitz was asked about Kennedy getting re-signed? He gave him a lot of praise but didn't disclose anything contract wise, I'm a fan of nothing getting out into the media until the ink is dried on contracts which is how we seem to be operating nowadays.

No didn’t see it. Will go find it and have a watch.

If we are to be contenders this year (which I seriously think we are), Kennedy will be crucial to it (there’s been a couple of occasions in recent years where we’ve looked the goods, then WK gets injured and we fall apart) - if we’re playing well, and he is, his price will rise. Get it done now.

I've been firmly in the get rid of him corner so I hope he keeps this form up and it's not just the playing for a contract thing you see with a lot of players. His involvement has been elite this year so far.

3. Trick… those back to back 40/20s
were sublime
2.AFB….still warming up but was a beast
1. Iro…… the day after me saying he’s not
the sort of player to run the length he did. Poor merkin was running on a treadmill for the last 30m and was gassed for the next 20 mins.
Nicho and WK both solid.

Have always been a WK fan and think he deserves a new contract if he continues his current form. Tbh I think he’s good value at around the 400-450k mark.

The Kennedy Effect is rarely, if ever, spoken of but you are 100% correct for mine. He's had some real struggles with different injuries for 2 or 3 years and it's clearly had an effect on him. He was "lights out" last night (beat ya Sam) but he's not getting points from me this week. That's because the forwards, for me, were the most responsible for this win. If they don't do what they did and do it so well your Kleenex, Trickys and others can't do the bells and whistles.

Alternate

3. The kickers for being intelligent and keeping Gray quiet
2. Wilton, for the job he did on Graham
1. Damien Ramien for the way he kept Wighton out of it.

They, for me, were the only real dangers in Souths side and they were all nullfied

It was a game built on punishing defence. Line speed and gang tackles. Treated the Bunnies with no respect whatsoever — exactly as much respect as they should have given them.
