That 1st 70mins was a great game of footy, then Inu continued to f**k it up. f**k, I'm mad!!!

3 points - Topou, best game ever!
2 points - Maloney, he really stepped up.
1 point - Taylor, he was everywhere and did a shitload of tackling

-1 million points to Inu!

f**k, that was a really good game, f**king Inu!

I know this is subjective thing and all but Pita Godinet was no where near the 2nd best Warrior.

Packer/Matulino - Can't split them, they dominated their opposition
Tupou - two great finishing touches for tries.

Dodgy first try aside, the Storm scored after - Tupou drops it cold with no pressure, Inu drops it cold with no pressure, Manu gets a correct but unlucky call against him, Tupou drops it after a dumb Inu offload in our own 20 and then a scrappy try after a loose Mateo pass.

5 tries (including dodgy ref one) from us turning over the ball in our own 20.

And despite Johnson/Ropati not being there our left side defense is still absolute shithouse.

3 Packer
2 Matulino
1 Vatuvei

- A bajillion Inu. Arrogant snot, hold the ball. Someone should tell him, inside your 25 metre area, play the percentages.
For those loving on Godinet, he was rolled big time defensively.

Feel bad for Inu, he really cant afford to have a bad game since hes on the fringe. I don't think he should be dropped I just dont think he should be put back in fullback again. He still has lots to offer when hes not brain exploding.

3. Manu, best performance ive seen from him in a while. NO errors (the accidental knock on doesnt count)
2. Packer, his best of the year.
1. Godinet/Tupou/Matulino - Godinet looked good, Billy had 2 great tries, Ben strong as always.

rest of teh team get half a point because it was a great performance, scoreline doesn't reflect. as someone mentioned earlier they all came off our only errors/lapses in our own 20.

I've been an Inu supporter but after that game. . . its really hard to understand whats going through their minds. Manu is no better, I mean surely there is some kind of instruction from the coach . . . the off load is worse than the drop IMO.

He's an easy target to run at, and gets you a few extra metres but he still does a good job for his size. Johnson is more of a pussy in the tackle than Godinet.

They were making easy metres by running at Friend and Godinet

It seems all too consistent in terms of how often he has brain explosions. The dude dead set needs to stop being an arrogant twat when he's coming out of his own half. The forwards should be absolutely disgusted with Inu, those blokes rolled the Storm relentlessly. If Locke plays on, I reckon we roll them easily... thats how important Inu's turnovers were. I feel empty as after that game, it's like playing in the Premier League, getting 12 shots on target, controlling the game, one quick turnover and a 70m punt upfield a striker playing up on his own who drills home a winner from nowhere after they'd parked the team bus in front of goal successfully for 85 minutes... we destroyed them up front and yet we lose by 18.

3: Maulino: never missed a tackle, bent and broke the line, backing up from a test!
2: Taylor: seemed to be everywhere and in everything.
1: Manu - effective hard running ball returns, no real errors (other than tough call tackling player knock on)

Hon Men: Tupou, nice tries, but also missed a sitter before half time not backing himself. Brown who had a solid game, pitty he isnt good at soccer at the end there. :)

Storm was there for the taking, Godinet had to may weetbix on most of his kicks, Tupou had to put the tights and cape on to get his second try! Also Godinet targeted near the line resulting in tries.

Inu had a shocker, and Bluey can now say I told you so!
1st a rough call.
2nd too lackadaisical
3rd just stupid brain explosion shit

If we had Johnson and Locke at fullback I think we win that game!!

At times when we had them pinned in their 30m it felt like last years grand final qualifier.

Ref gave them a hell of a leg up, as stated in other thread Inu first mistake/strip we needed a captains call.

Result I expect before kick off, disappointing as looked winnable 10mins into it.

Considering that it was his first match as a starter and this was Melbourne in Melbourne, I thought he put in a good effort for the most part. Everyone's defense out on the left was crap in the last 15 mins, can't blame Godinet alone for that.

Yeah but thats bringing other things into it not really related to impact on the game or straight up performance, if anything Russell Packer had a bigger impact on the game than Godinet.

very well worth pointing out.

Godinet put up a few nice kicks and was involved in two tries. First start, in Melbourne, I'm happy with that. He gets a point from me based on this.

Yeah but thats because it was a make shift centre and Pita Godinet combinations out there.

EDIT: that was to the post on the left side defense

Inu had a shocker but Id rather have seen him play at centres than get chucked in at fullback. Also where was Feleti?

Good point; either way, we will be hiding a half with average defense there. So we will always have a weakness in this area.
