The ground announcer shouldnt pick on the ref. Not his role.

I agree. That's our job as fans! The ground announcer represents the club and should just try to keep a good atmosphere.

Mind you, the ref was absolutely useless .................!

The passing game was busters. His long face balls(not cut outs) were the money balls & created the line breaks. Noddy was the one throwing the lollipops to Buster. Luckily Buster has the skill to compensate for the pathetically slow double pumps from kimmorley to keep the fluidity of the line moving along with minimal disruption.
The best money ball of the night however, goes to kearney. His pass to the Cove for his try was a zinger.

Players & coaches awards went to the Pom(with a mention from Sticky that he got up both centres during the week & they responded) The coaches award went to Fraser.

My 3 goes to
Pom
fraser
Buster

General concensus from the ground & scuttlebutt is that kimmorley was adequate & being consistently adequate. Nobody is sorry to be seeing him go.
My opinion is he can't kick for touch & his general play kicking(the easiest kicking task) was inferior to Sandows by a long way & very little hit & awful lot of miss. His defense is appaulling & getting worse & will cost us when we play the broncs in the home semi final.

I think kearny should be tried at half back again & Mitch Brown should come back to fullback.

Yeah we could try brown at FB and give away a few easy tries. The guy just hasn't got it from what i have seen.

Oh and it's a relief watching simmo take the high balls instead of misi, and as a bonus simmo actually scores tries.

I wouldn't go blowing your load over your simmo stance just yet. he was congratualted by the coach last night for his game, but he has had a serious last chance rocket thrown up him.

Pom got a rocket but it is obvious that he was never going to be left out of the team.

Seems Simmo is really the only back under positional threat. & by position, I mean which team he plays for.

3 pom
2 simmo
1 de gois

and the sinner award this week goes to misi. fair dinkum he is the nicest fella you will eva meet and he has turned his life around. he is strong in defence, fast and makes alot of runs for us out of dummy half, but i would trust my mates rubber that hes had in his wallet for the past ten years before i trust misi under a high ball or under any sort of pressure. drop him now before he drops us out the race.

on that pass too - great angle run by pom
sorry for the double post

but the line run by millington made that try. That was a wicked line and sucked in two defenders which combined with poms angle = covell in the corner

Watch 15 run the decoy.

yeah true

but it was good to see pom have the awareness to angle back infield

in previous games we would slide and pass until we eventually were squeezed into the sideline

good lines all round...

Pommeroy learnt from his bombed try against the Dragins, like a bulldozer learning to go between trees rather than straight over them. Got down low for both tries.
