all points to flanno for what ever physical and mental drills he has instilled into the team over teh last fortnight

what an effort, especially backing up after last weeks physical contest on a short turn around

penrith were ambushed and bent over

well done coach and team

3 Toops - it's all in the hair
2 Graham - great game, organisation and kicking were top drawer
1 Gards - dangerous little farker, FOX commentary had chubbies

SM's - Gal, Smith, Pom, Best, AK
Extra SM - Brod Wright, I reckon Flanno's has told the benchies they need to step up whilst the starters are off, and Brod has responded. Top game.
Another ESM - Williams, great kicking obviously, but this guy is looking as safe as a house. Also threatening to bust some tackles.

yeah i agree, williams has been great. Great replacement for Covell, if only we had fergo still with his heart in the right place, it would be a great team! Not that wright has been sh*t, just that fergo is freaking good!

2- Kelly...Reefy and sticky think he is a fullback...tonight just proved these idiots wrong

Wow, you know SO much about league Snoop! So much.
2 broken play trys, a couple of grubbers for no results, no try assists, no line break assists etc etc.
His entire game last night was about opportunistic talent & it was against the most awful team performance i have seen since Parra beat us by 70 points.

did anybody watch Benji last night? Carney last year? Lockyer this year? Foran last week?

There is a long way to go for Albert, who is just as talented IMO.
it does not mean that he is better suited to a structured position like 5/8 & not a position that can develop his natural skills like fullback. Right now its irrelevant debate anyway because Kelly would not be able to unseat Gardner, who is playing better in attack than Kelly(Also noted that you gave Kelly points before Gards, which makes you a phucking idiot. Gardner & Gal blew that game open).

Yes reef perhaps kellys performance is being overrated but perhaps not

He is getting results with his back up and defending like a first grader

Surely you can't be disappointed with his progress

Absolutely not disappointed. Everybody knows he will be good. His defense is the highlight for mine, not the opportunistic trys he scored yesterday. A few tackles yesterday their bigs aimed at him & he aimed up.
But his play is not typical 5/8 play or really what is required.

Watch the replay & watch Morris closely. he was left floundering at dummy half so many times yesterday waiting for one of the halves to call & they were both in la la land not knowing what to do.
Morris was fantastic in this respect too, making good choices, when his halves offered him nothing.

Inexperience and youth and both are in a new team

But both appear to have pretty good footy brains

I would expect to see pretty rapid improvement in their calls

Well noted.
He has not recieved the kudos of others but there is hardly a poor player in the last week. His role has been invaluable in the context of things now and to come

I agree with you on Kelly's defence. Everyone knows he can attack, but I have been super impressed with his defence this year, and not shirking the tough stuff.

Yeah right . T.Lahrs should still be playing centres too. Covell should have played half back all his career. Docking should never have played fullback. Lockyer should have always played fullback & never 5/8. The list goes on & on of where players find they are better suited to different positions to their junior positions.

At least you admit your points are given no thought & are based on a popularity contest. Fair enough. Well done skidmark.

pew pew.
