1. Baileys reads save our asses every games. Sure he misses the odd crucial one like hedid last week, coming in to assist kearney on a bigger man. His 20 or so weekly tackles are solid & he glues that side of the field together. A lot of Bails work is the stuff not a lot of people don't notice. Even off the ball stuff like getting under players skins.
If somebodey like scott, who has a solid tackling technique & is a big unit misses, then it is a read error generally. & his reads have been awful of late & that is why he being made look, well, stupid. But I actually think hes a handy player & dont want him to get the punt. & I dont want him to get gifted 60 games of first grade on the back of poor form.
Dougies tackling last night was first class. Driving tackles, hurting tackles & lots of them. Gallens were good too, so was Birds, generally.
Williams defense is excellent too, but he he is not troubling the defense with his attack. Dougie is, thats why he gets the points for mine.
Bird is finally improving but what odds would you get gallen & Bird error counts? no errors would be very long odds.
