3 reasons why we can win it all

Ok so you can probably think of a trillion why we can't but on the positive side -

1. We are one of the fittest sides in the comp.
When you look at how many times we score tries very late in a game you gotta think that folkes has us right up there in terms of fitness..I think the stat is 20% of our tries have come in the last 10 minutes.

2.. We have the most improvement left in us.
In other-words we are playing crap, apart from last week. But we are still 2nd and are yet to get the best out of Benji and Robbie in a match- if they can both get a roll on.....

3. We are the only side in the history of the finals to be undefeated

Sheens knows how to play finals footy. He has trouble getting there but once he is there - watch-out.... only Bennet is comparable with getting a side over the line in Final footy

Also our current place on the table also give us a shot at being one of the two highest placed winners from week 1. If that happens we are 1 game away from A GRAND-FINAL

Lets hope shines keeps Fitzy away from our side and we should be ok

Like in 2005, if you can get to the final series with 99% of your squad fit and in form anything is possible and this year more than most the teams are very even.

In saying that on what we have displayed for the vast majority of the year we will struggle against a top team in form. Iam not so worried about our defense it has been pretty good all season bar the Souths blow out(although Gibbs plays a big part in that department) Its our go forward against the good packs and you need the go forward to than do the damage on the edges like last week with Ellis and Fulton causing havoc.

My guess we are still a long way off the pace, but other than the dragons who is on the pace!!! Lets hope we lift the bar over the next few weeks and the Dragons choke when it counts

Lui is not an issue (aside from his arm grabs in defence). He is coming along fine in attack.

Our biggest issues are matching it with the big packs, specifically stopping offloads and support play (though the Penrith game fills me with some confidence) and the ability for other teams to score plenty of tries off kicks.

The real test for the first issue will come this week against the Eels.

The Eels are very similar to us in the fact that they can fall asleep throughout games, but when on they can really hurt you.

I think it's simple (from watching on the sidelines anyway), stop their offloads and we win.

If our backline was

1. Mckinnon
2. Tuqiri
3. Ayshford/Daniela/Ryan
4. Lawrence
5. Tuiaki
6. Marshall
7. Moltzen

then there isn't a current legal team that would get near us.

Vic, Vic, Vic - forwards are needed at the end of the season, without them going forward and defending like they have never defended before - that backline or the Queensland backline will mean zip.

Bubbles, Bubbles, Bubbles, get over it - leave it till next year and just get behind Lui.

Gibbs is the one we will miss over the next few weeks and it will, him missing, just show everyone how important he is. We need to get to 2 wide running backrowers of Ellis and Fulton to play close in for the next 2 games because that is what we may need come September, perhaps they can drift out wide in the last 10 minutes if the score is in our favour.

3 key Problems
1. Lui
2. Fullback
3. Front row depth

1. I think we can win it with him, if he doesn't overplay his hand. Apart from a horrible botched try on Sunday he had a very good game.
2. I thought Brown played very well on Sunday, if he played like that consistently I'd be very happy.
3. Defintely our weakness, hopefully Gibbsy is back soon and Sheens forgives Moors for running over his dog.
