How good was that?

We were far below our best and still stomped these guys 3-0. Would love us to make it 5-0.

Very pleased I got a chance to go to Adelaide day 1. I'd recommend the ground to anyone who has thoughts about going for the test next summer. Maybe the best ground I've watched cricket at in Australia.
I would love to see Australia win 5-0 so I can hear the glorious "five nil" song again for the first time since the 2014 SCG test (see the last 15 seconds of the clip below). It would go to #1 on the ARIA charts if Cricket Australia released it as a single.

I purchased tickets for day 4 of this test, but the Poms decided to throw in the towel on day 3 and the test was, to quote The 12th Man, "all over quicker than you could say "gee, it's going to piss down!""

Good point

The Brisbane test moreso proved that.

Starc + 2nd string pace attack of Boland/Neser/Doggett (I include Boland, because a fit Hazlewood gets selected infront of Boland) + no specialist spinner (Lyon) = "Bowl fast when there's nothing going on, champion"
It’s been the biggest positive out of this series for mine. Starc has been brilliant but Neser bowled well at the Gabba and Doggett looked fine

18 tests and counting since the poms won a test here.

Lost 16 & Drawn 2

I think its the most amount of tests in a row a country has gone here in Australia without winning a test.

I hope we don't give them a sniff now to get a consolation win

Let the drought continue.

Ill take a washout draw to avoid England winning.

And I'd like to add with those two draws:

- MCG 2017: the pitch was so flat, you could've played a timeless test on it.
- SCG 2022: despite a substantial amount of overs that got lost due to rain on days 1 and 3, Australia fell one wicket short of victory.

I wish punter played that Sydney test, instead it was officially Pups first game as skipper. We’d have gone through Clarke, Smith, Paine and Cummins since their last test win in Aus had that happened.
If you want to be technical, Shane Watson filled in as captain during the last test of the ill-fated 2013 tour of India.

Unless it's injury related, I'd be very surprised if Cummins is rested for the Sydney test, given it's his home ground.

Re: Cummins comments on Starc and Boland, Boland will definitely play on Boxing Day. All the Victorians will be up in arms if he was rested.

It is injury related. All to do with strengthening his back, and part of his recovery is to manage his workload.

He mentioned it in his interview after the games.
