It’s quite telling that the bright spots with the bat in this series (for NZ) have been outsiders- Phillips and Blundell.

tbh, Blundell for Raval is easy. But if Phillips puts on a decent score today, I’d reward him with Nicholl’s spot. Disrupt the underperforming status quo

makes you wonder how much the established players already played out the series before it started, where as blundall and Phillips are playing the moment
