Left arm orthodox bowlers rarely turn it a long way unless the pitch is a fizzer. Their main weapons are flight, drift and variations in bounce and pace.

I'm not sure about this tactic from starc. It might be effective against lower order batsmen but unless he ups his pace into the 150 plus range consistently a batsmen worth his salt isn't going to be overly troubled by this.

Starc was excellent for that spell in Melbourne but he hasn't been super this summer. His pace isn't so extreme or his movement late enough to get batsmen out bowling yorkers all the time.
