I was thinking earlier that in order for England to even compete for this match what they really need to do is lose 2 or less wickets a session, so I think the loss of 2 is okay, but more than that and they write themselves off
I see Alastair Cook is going for a Geoff Boycott type of innings.:lol: 49 of 185 balls at a S/R of 26.48. Although there's still more than a day left, scoring at 1.89 runs/over isn't going to win this game for England, as it's just inviting the Pakis to attack them as much as they like.
Cook is the man that stands between Pakistan and a 3-0 series whitewash. If he goes, I can see the rest of the poms batting lineup folding like a deck of cards against Ajmal and Rehman.
England are just not very secure. Pakistan batted at a similarly slow run rate most of their innings, Younis Khan picked it up for a while, but that was it.
Alastair Cook throws his wicket away, probably all over for England now
