I love the hot weather, and if it was 44 degrees in Penrith the other day like they said at the bureau, it wasn't hot enough. I can't wait for the really hot weather. Puts hair on your chest.
Naw, at least it's easier to get warm in the cold weather than it is to get cool in the stinking hot weather.
Does anyone else find it strange that I could handle the Qld (sunshine coast) heat fine when I was up there in the summer but as soon as I hit Penrith just a few days later I nearly melted and died!!! :?
Maybe it's something to do w/ the english blood...
Yeah, once it gets to 35 and over out Penrith way, the air gets really thick and heavy,
and when it hits 40, it can even feel hard to breathe.
Give me the winter any time. I can always put on enough clothes to get warm in winter,
but you can never take off enough clothes to get cool in summer.
If I didn't have air conditioning at home and in the car, I'd never leave the house.
I'd rather hot weather because you can cool down easier and i'd prefer to go to the beach when its hot rather than stay inside with heater on in the winter.
One thing i hate is going out Penrith in the heat, and the flys attack me...I get more and more pissed off. Thats the good thing about the north shore...it doesnt really get that hot here "touch wood".
I love the summer, but the temperatures are a bit too much sometimes. At least in the winter, the mild-ish temperatures doesn't really dictate your outdoor activities.
Nothing better on a cold winter's night to watch your team running around in a packed stadium...
